This is as much Liberal clap trap today as it was when it printed yesterday.

The SG needs to get their act together. It's bad enough when the reprint the same letter under another title a week later, but the next day? Come on editors, wake up.

I'm not sure if I would blame this on the SG. With this one having a different header, I would suspect the letter writer submitted this twice.

Maybe so Gavin, but if we noticed it right off the bat you're telling me they couldn't/shouldn't have? You must admit, it's been happening a lot lately.

"The current fiasco the US government is in has been provoked entirely by one of the major political parties. Republicans warned us all summer that they would shut the government down if they did not get their unilateral demands satisfied. They have fulfilled their promise." - Richard Saunders

*

Actually...it was 2001...when initiating tax-cuts, right BEFORE "pulling-the-pin" on War, sounded like a pretty-good idea.

"I think this letter is just a bit late. Anyway, the real problem here is that the ACA should never been passed in the first place. But it was.

And no matter how the Democrats try to spin it, they all know that at the very best the plan is little more than a basic sketch of a notion, with no real consequence analysis done.

And nearly 50% or perhaps more really believe the ACA is a nightmare." - Francine

*

...And, 100 PERCENT (of any lynch-mob), think they're "right".

So much for majority-opinion.

The ACA is failing on it's own, nothing more needs said, sit back and watch it self destruct. "Signature piece of garbage".

So Jack, if anyone disagrees with you, they're automatically part of a lynch mob? 50% of America is a lynch mob?" - Francine

*

No.

You'd suggested "nearly 50% or perhaps more really believe the ACA is a nightmare".

What people BELIEVE is (actually) WORTH something, to you???

My reference to lynch-mobs, was...POPULAR-OPINION isn't necessarily all-that-accurate.

GREAT JOB (at knee-jerkin', on your part), though.

Only liberals could trash the economy with debt, unworkable programs and regulations then claim the ones trying to return to fiscal sanity are the ones trashing it.

The country trashers are sitting on the left side of the isle. They could start by passing a budget, something they have not done since Obama has been in office. Total fiscal irresponsiblity and then blaming the GOP for everything while they continue to trash the country with overwhelming debt. It can't be sustained and we will fall. Thank you Bully Obama.

I can't wait until the second round of sequester cuts starts! The first ones didn't seem to hurt at all even though we were told how horrible they would be. Bring them on.

Well Scott, Limbaugh has about 20 million listeners. While that is more than anyone else, it is still less than 10% of those on the right. So much for the ridiculous notion that Rush controls the right. I know that this is difficult for you to grasp, but many people in this country who believe in freedom and the Constitution, actually think for themselves.

And that’s more than can be said for most on the left.

"President Obamas budget for 2014 was $1,203 billion dollars."

The budget hasn't been this low since 1990. U.S. Government spending in 2012 was over $3,500 billion and 2013 will com in at about $3.7 Trillion. Every number in this stupid letter is wrong. They are a misunderstanding of a misinterpretation of a twisted spin by a left wing hack.
