False comments

October 27, 2013

I found Rep. Tom Marino's comments on his position of Obamacare and the government shutdown very humorous and wholly false....

Yeah the GOP were losing ground fast with their defund ploy and then they had the face the ugly truth that the American public did not want another government shutdown. Then they claimed they only wanted to negotiate. What they wanted was for the Democrats and especially President Obama to capitulate to all their demands.

The initial position was to completely defund.

But what the GOP really wanted was negotiation with Democrats.

The GOP changed its position from defund to delay the ACA to delay the individual mandate.

They presented different positions to demonstrate they were not stuck on just defunding the ACA.

It totally put the lie to President Obama's claim that they were holding the country hostage over a demand.

But liberals, like President Obama, are not ashamed to spread lies.

"As I've said before, Tom was elected to represent a conservative area and is doing what he promised to do."

He was elected to represent an ideology. Here I thought he was elected to represent all of the people of his district. Now we know how the right wants this country to be govern.

Since Tom doesn't have a brother, what does Dan Marino have to do with anything?

Tom has made it clear from the beginning that he was against Obamacare.......that it was a train wreck waiting to happen. The fact that he signed the letter doesn't detract from his pledge to do everything he could to rid us of the monstrosity thrust upon us by the dumbocrats.

Just another LTE written by a liberal trying to muddy the water.

As I've said before, Tom was elected to represent a conservative area and is doing what he promised to do.
