While I do agree there is definitely a problem with drugs/crime in Williamsport and understand how, perhaps, the landlord ordinance may be somewhat beneficial, something does not sit right with the last sentence in the above article. Mayor Campana needs to elaborate on this statement. Who, exactly, is he referring to, "we need to push this element out of the city and the county". Really? Do you really believe a landlord ordinance is going to accomplish that? Who, exactly, is the "element" he is referring to? And where, exactly, would you like them to go? Disturbing that such an educated man oozes such ignorance.
