Pretty good advertising ploy.

.....

On a separate note, I wonder if they require a picture ID when they return for the free wings for the next year?

Wow, Francine, What was the SG thinking in covering a grand opening of a new restaurant on the front page? Are you kidding me???? Why would they not place a great new restaurant business on page one? I have seen many new business and community stories on the front page. The news in this town is not just drugs and shootings. There is still some good news happening and I am happy they always place it on the front page to counter the bad.

So, where are all the grousers who hate any change? This eatery was brought here, in part, due to the gas industry development. C'mon rick, shammy, chuckles, and the rest, time to crank up the complaint machines! That said, I won't go because it is a chain and I only support local businesses when possible. But, it is another option for many.

What???? How do you know the gas industry has anything to do with a new Restaurant???? Lord knows no locals in central Pa ever eats buffalo wings and has been waiting for a wing restaurant since Actions pub burnt down 15 years ago.

Woolrich, there are several places locally that serve good wings. The Cripple Bear being one of them and many in the gas industry frequent the place for their wings.

Free wings for a year? These fools stood outside in the freezing cold for a voucher book containing 52 coupons for 6 free wings a week. A lot of the folks were upset because they were misguided to believe they would be allowed an unlimited amount of wings for an entire year. Ya always need to read the fine print...

Woolrich, it has nothing to do with the gas industry directly. They did not request this restaurant or any others to be built. It is their very presence and the infusion of cash into the economy that has spurred growth in our area. With that growth this restaurant was found to be warranted by the developer. Now, do you get it?

What line of work is someone in that can camp out in line just to get wings? I can think of a lot of other foods that would be worth that kind of wait, but not wings!

If I was young I might have done it too. People are drawn to the word "free". But nothing is really "free" in life. At least they weren't drinking and carousing or shooting people!

Syndbob....the folks who have all that time to wait in line are most likely all Community Organizers.
