Oh there's no doubt that cons will allow them to stand side by side as equals, but just one rung below white Christain males.

Yes they are, with everyone standing side by side as equals.

I almost crapped reading your post Vince why don't we all just let the woman decide what's best for her and everyone keep their DA MN noses to their selves?

rmiller- only you and those who know you can speak to your level of insanity. However, when I see statements like: "saving the lives of all unborn babies in the WOMB", "white babies' lives", and "President Obama is murdering his generation"; I know this person has crossed over into a realm in which they can not be reasoned with. Nutsville!

Give the letter writers ideas a chance; no abortion will solve the world's problems. It's already working in places. There's little to no abortion in sub-Sahara Africa and the economies and living standards are world class.

Perhaps mandatory reversible sterilization at birth would solve a world of problems. As people come of age they would be given a series of tests, social, economic, psychological ect to determine their "fitness" to procreate.IMAGINE the govt programs that could be slashed, heck, we might only need 1 school for the whole darn city. Yea, overly sarcastic:)

"The ACA would improve health care for pregnant women and infants. That would be for the good since as a wealthy industrial nation we lag behind other nations when it comes to infant mortality rates. "

Uhhhhh...Chuck....

Check the UN report on infant death mortality rates....me thinks your statement is completely erroneous, but maybe you hoped no one would check.

At least one person's mother was/is a moralist, right JH?

Jakesmom,

Even though the part about ridding the debt by not paying for abortions is a stretch (albeit abortion funding is part of the budget unfortunately) I'm one of those crazies. So, what about this letter is crazy?

And, that would be....the white side and black side, right? Just saying:)

No, Obama promised a "dead baby" remember? Oooops, he promised we could keep our insurance policy and Dr., right?

"Does anybody know how the ACA will treat this subject? Is the Gov't going to pay for abortion through Obmacare?"

The same as the federal government does now. Only state governments give funding for abortions.

The ACA would improve health care for pregnant women and infants. That would be for the good since as a wealthy industrial nation we lag behind other nations when it comes to infant mortality rates.

"Although i think abortion is wrong in most cases, and would not want any of my daughters having to make that decision, I do not believe we have the right to take the option away from any woman. Thats my official stance on this one."

Wow! You surprised me.

I don't think any woman wants to HAVE to make that decision. It is a decision that only they are able to make.

In my youth when abortion was headed to the Supreme Court and all that anyone was discussing I could not understand how any woman could even consider having an abortion. It was the women in my family and friends who are women that made it possible for me to understand what abortion is for women. It is individualism, choice, rights, freedom, protection, safety. They do not take being a Mother lightly, they are very serious about it.

Gavin the denser the population the more abortions are found. All states have rural and urban areas and when a service provider is limited they are going to be located in a area with the most people.

For example the states with the lowest occurance of abortions have only one or two abortion providers and even those are limited by state law on what they can provide. They are located in a urban center in that state. But as with all things urban centers have more accessibility than rural.

Look at the stats by city, and then by state. There is a direct correlation between urban and rural.

"I think I would phrase it as urban vs. rural."

It is by state because that is how the statistics are reported. You may see as it rural vs urban but economics clearly plays a role in it also.

We're not worried. Presently...even young Evangelicals are "getting it" (i.e. ignoring the "call" o' racists/bigots/misogynists).
