Shaman - do all you Lefties have TEABAGGER issues? And does that suffice for intellectual debate where you came from? And Shammy - do any of those fifty accomplishments in that article you cited actually show Obama keeping any of his campaign promises or his Obamacare promises?

This is one of those times that I would like to see Chuck have the cojones to answer the points Enigma made here.

Lets see now, there are Sen's Boxer, Landrieu, Stabenow, Mccaskell, Gillibrand, Murray, Cantwell, that are worthless rabble-rousers.........and let's not forget the big liar, "big-chief-indian" Warren.......

Sorry, but if that is what you call a great bunch, you are really hurting!

It's hard to tell whether Chuck is right or wrong, because his letter makes no sense. From his record, we'll have to assume that he is wrong. He's obviously wrong if he thinks that the women in the Senate are some great brain trust. Maybe he's never heard Barbara Boxer or Elizabeth Warren speak. They're both dumber than a box of rocks. And there are several more just like them. Maybe he's talking about Kirsten Gillibrand who ran as a moderate and then betrayed those who elected her and became even more liberal than Chuck Shumer. It just shows that Reeder is a sexist. The female Senators are neither better nor worse overall then their male counterparts.

Countless executive orders is not a functioning government. A "lockstep" Democratic side of the aisle is not functioning gov't. A fawning, protective media is not functioning gov't. A political system "of, by, and for the Party" is not functioning gov't. We have no functioning gov't and therefor everyone will suffer, except, of course, the pols.

'You mean like the party of NO (republicans in both House and Senate) that will vote against anything the president is for?'

And they should vote NO to slow down the socialistic push that the Dems are on.

What the author of this letter fails to comprehend is that the author of the letter he criticizes was explaining that we all must decide at the voting booth whether we want ever larger and economically reckless government or more individual liberty and economic sanity. Extremism has nothing to do with that decision and government will function either way.

Oh yes the women in government, are you referring to Kathleen Sebelius? She is doing a wonderful job isn't she. That web site is phenomenal. Chucky you are delusional. You dream of big government giving you everything for free and taking care of you. Get over youself and be self-worthy, not nanny state-dependent.

The current crop of lady senators seem to mainly be headed up by far left leaning liberals.......just like Chuck! If you want a functioning representative type government Chuck, you're going to have to give up the "my way or I'll run this country into the ground" dictator you've been pushing for six years now! You want it? Quit voting for these left wing nuts!

Mr. Reeder, Sheeple simply want a government that functions. Convenience, freebies and falsely percieved safety trumps everything in their view.

The Soviet Union functioned quite well for roughly 70 years and many of the despots in the federal govt lean heavily toward the Marxist principals of the SU whether they know it or not.

But Patriots, Mr. Reeder; genuine, informed patriots want more than simply a govt that functions. They want their CONSTITUTIONAL govenment back. In other words, they want AMERICA back.

While people may want a "functioning government" they also want less of it. One of the main problems with American government is it has become increasingly responsive to special interests and not the public interest and constitutional precepts. Private economic power has become public political power. This has undermined the conditions of political equality that are so essential to a well-functioning "REPUBLIC".

Hey Chuck - I thought you favored President Obama? 'What voters truly want is someone who is going to make government function not support one ideology over the other as is proposed in 'The Only Question'.' That line proves that you oppose Obama just like the rest of us.

Or did you copy and paste that line from some website without understanding what it meant, like you have done so many other times?
