You are correct that I should perhaps be less negative. However, would also not agree with me that a newspaper has a responsibility to be accurate? Correct math and an understanding of local geopolitics is hardly asking for much. Thanks :)

Sapperfox....negativity is not what we need here....they have been alerted, and a correction is on it's way....that kind of comments do not help. A positive approach will get you further every time...

Another wonderful piece of journalistic garbage from sun gazette. Any chance you clowns were taught math ??? I already can tell that journalism is a lost cause. The public needs a good press to keep a watchful eye on corrupt politics. You guys are deaf, blind and dumb!!! Any chance for a timely online correction???

Oh by the way, a few quotes from the largesst recipient of STSD votes would be appreciated in that article.

I really hope we see a retraction and a new story headline tomorrow how STSD voters bring in change. By my count, Steve Guilluame received over 750 votes which far exceeds all the write ins against. If the rest of your reported figures can be relied on we have 4 new board members and those remaining members will take note not only of the results but also of the high voter turnout in STSD municipalities.

And, you have to look at the Lycoming Co. website too. Cogan House and Jackson Townships in Lycoming Co. voted 327 to 2 for Steve Guillaume. Mr. Guillaume actually garnered over 800 total votes! I am very disappointed in this newspaper reporting such information.

This is why election results need to wait until official. Per the UNOFFICIAL results, Mr Guillaume received over 350 votes in just Liberty Twp and Boro alone not counting the Bloss boro results for R1 School Board member. Lets wait for OFFICAL results when commenting on heated seats and winning by a landslide in HOTLY contested areas
