"Bush started the recession and McCain and Romney would make it worse to fill their own pockets and those of their corporate sponsors."

Many presidents have inherited very bad economic conditions. The recession officially ended in June 2009. Obama went on the road to champion the achievement.

There is no basis for the claim that McCain or Romney or anyone else would put up the pathetic economic numbers of the Obama administration.

Democrats, too, have "corporate sponsors," and currently, there is only one group in Washington trying to rein in the cronyism by eliminating the things that facilitate the practice, like the bloated tax code and regulatory agencies.

"Wouldn't a real socialist give workers higher wages. Raise taxes. The debt went up because of Bush's war started on a lie."

No.

Yes, and he has. Last year the treasury received record revenue, and it wasn't because of economic growth and more taxpayers.

The war went on the credit card just like any other excess spending. Obama is responsible for the deficits on his watch.

Hey tranyi you forgot to mention that inflation is through the roof and minimum wage is still the same as when Obamer took office. Wouldn't a real socialist give workers higher wages. Raise taxes. The debt went up because of Bush's war started on a lie. Bush started the recession and McCain and Romney would make it worse to fill their own pockets and those of their corporate sponsors. Just like the "oily presidency" of Bush\Cheney. What do you think waging war is profitable? When all arms are made overseas. Wake up stupid!

"So, if the debt was at $10 trillion when President Obama took office and now it is $17 trillion....how much did he add to the debt?"

He didn't add anything. Congress controls the budget. Oh the president puts in his budget request, but it is Congress who controls the budget. The president doesn't even get to sign the budget." - johnnyad3

The country will be destroyed by you Liberals before then John, i hope you can deal with the outcome of that. Go ahead, keep the course as it is by voting in your liberals. Its easy to get the votes when you buy them with our tax dollars, why do you think everybody is on EBT? You figure the more dependant they are on the Gov't the more they will vote for democrats beacuse they will get everything for free. You are part of the problem with this great country of ours John.

Sorry hilfilthy, but you are batting 1000 at being wrong.

No Russian decendents in my family tree.

Unlike you, I have a birth certificate from right here in good old PA.

I have on occasion watched Fox News, but haven't heard any of the info from my fb page uttered there, so you will have to be more explicit......that is if you can come up with a lie or 2 or 3.

As for Rush Limbaugh.....wouldn't have any idea of what he says since I never listen to him. Obviously you must hang on his every word!

By the way Hilfilthy....thought I would let you know that I take Endocet for the excruciating 24/7 pain I am in.

What Budget? And btw, you're starting to sound like Obama; passing the buck. So I guess Bush isn't responsible for any of the deficit either but rather the democratic Congress that was in control.

Agreed. Too-often, such dysfunctional-people are pushing for direct/popular-voting, in elections, rather-than maintaining the electoral-college system.

Every time I hear that, my first thought is...lynch-mobs were (typically) the result o' "majority-rule", themselves.
