But it's only taxpayer money, no big deal. Half the country has no investment in this because it doesn't cost them one cent.

America has lost so many jobs because of 'unions' demanding more than companies can pay yet here we go again with the biggest union'the government' forcing companies to pay a higher minimum wage. Watch what happens.

It is such an uneven playing field?? You have corporate america with millions in profits paying the same wages as a mom and pop sub shop that can barely pay it"s bills, If You are a million dollar corporation hording all the nations money you should be forced to pay a living wage , yet these small mom and pops s, if people like family want to work in a local business they shouldnt be penalized

How horrible that corporate America can pay the same as a mom and pop.

Could that possibly be because, as a worker, you can choose to take your skills to either corporate America or to a mom and pop?

But liberals don't like the free movement of labor either. They want to dictate what jobs you will have and how much you will be allowed to earn.

Unions do not allow exceptional employees to thrive....all are held to the lowest common denominator.

Mimi:

You can take all the wealth in the United States today and redistribute it equally among all citizens.

In five years we will be right back to where we are now.

You are a naïve fool who thinks redistribution does anything other than enrich the connected and powerful.
