The second lie

November 9, 2013

Like a sleazy salesman, President Obama repeatedly said you can keep your insurance if you like it, despite knowing for more than three years it was a lie....

George Washington - could not tell a lie.

Barack Obama - wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the arse.

It's s shame how far we've digressed from our founding fathers principles.

Blame the democrat leaders (Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Etc) that invited the lobbyest and lawyer firms for the health insurance firms to sit on the committees to write the legislation. Duh of course they wrote it this way to favor themselves. Even MrShaman ought to be able to understand it.

Oh and don't try the.....well they wrote it like Massachusetts' so it would appeal to the Republicans. The legislation was written to appeal to the health insurance companies; it passed without Republican support. At least they wanted to read the legislation before voting for it.

But as Premier said, Obama's sorry! He said so, right on TV.

Shame on everyone for believing they could keep their insurance policy because they didn't read between the lines, or go to the fine print, next to the double asterisk, on page 2011 at the bottom, in 1 point font.

Yes, too many of our elected leaders are like sleazy salesmen who say what the electorate wants to hear and then does something else.

But this is different. President Obama deliberately lied about the ACA to deceive the people and prevent its repeal or reform.

He did not just lie about being able to keep your current healthcare plan, if you like it. He lied about keeping your doctor. He lied about the price. He lied about nearly every aspect of this legislation.

When many rose up to dispute the President's lies, they were shouted down as liars themselves (or racists if you cannot debate).

The people voted the Democrats out of office in 2010, creating one of the largest switches in congress.

We all have to wonder if the 2012 election might have been different had this nation known the truth.

I found this on denver dot cbslocal cot com: "Colorado Woman Who Championed Obamacare Loses Insurance Plan"

The best quote from the article: “I was really shocked … all of my hopes were sort of dashed,” Wagner said. “’Oh my gosh President Obama, this is not what we hoped for, it’s not what we were told.’ “

"Oh and don't try the.....well they wrote it like Massachusetts'"

How can one compare the 17 page MA healthcare bill to the dumbocrat's monstronsity of a bill with thousands of pages, followed by thousands of pages of regulations affecting both individuals and the economy?????

"But this is President Obama's second lie to the American people."

Second?

Third: "This was a spontaneous attack in reaction to an offensive youtube video."

4th, 5th, 6th, etc: "I learned about [insert scandal here] from news reports just like you folks did."

The list is endless.

"" President Obama repeatedly said you can keep your insurance if you like it ""

Are you sure he lied..??

Did the ACA say this individual could not keep their Insurer..?

Or did their Employer discontinue Free employee insurance coverage. If so, that would be the reason this person had to seek different insurance.

Do any of you know the details...??

Fredzz:

First, we are talking about those not getting employer-sponsored health insurance.

We are talking about the self-insured.

They are the ones taking it on the chin.

The ACA says that you can keep your plan if it remains unchanged since the ACA was signed into law (March 2010).

First, most policies are changed every year to accommodate needs and keep costs low.

Secondly, the ACA put mandates on health insurance policies that REQUIRED them to be changed.....thereby forcing their cancellation.

By June 2010, the White House knew that over 65% of those self-insured would lose their plans, even if they liked them.

Now, the real problem.

Employer-sponsored health insurance is subject to the same problem.....change it since March 2010 and you lose it.

The White House knew this and this is what motivated them to delay the EMPLOYER mandate another year, so Democrats running for re-election would not suffer.

Bobbie2, "" The details Sleepy, you voted for a liar. ""

Since its impossible to be elected without lying....

Everyone Votes for a liar.

The difference .... Are they telling the lies you want to hear.. or telling the lies someone else wants to hear...!!?

I'm surprised you hadn't figured that out by now...??

PS, When elected [either Party]... they will follow the `PARTY line` or go home a discrace
