So, the author goes through great pains to pick apart the connection between Democrats and censures, but then tries to connect small government to the confederacy.

What a buffoon!

Tell me how small gov't is a threat.

"Those expelled would have argued they supported the same sort of small unintrusive government that Cruz, Paul and Blackburn favor." I think those expelled were not so concerned with the size of government as they were with whether or not that government supported their points of view.
