One thing needs to be set straight in this article and since no one else has I will. The previous retirees and currently employed firefighters and families with health benefits will not lose them after retirement. The article should state that new hires upon retirement under the proposed new contract will only have benefits for themselves when that time comes. Maybe the mayor needs to fix this article so that it states the correct facts.
