MisMac, please hang in there. When I started on this site a few years back, I was called a terrorist. Now I usually get more agrees than disagrees, not so much on my political views though. Your comments are well thought out and add a lot. Keep it up and hang in there.

leaningright, you should thank God nothing happened to your property because it would be worthless.

The Gas Industry is the reason why I sold my house in Plunketts Creek. I lost $9,600 had to do a Baseline Water Test to add to my disclosure and I had to except cash for the sale because everyone around me had leased and the banks would not finance any of my buyers. Banks and Insurance Companies are becoming very picky now because of people leasing.

Hey MisMac, keep your chin up, your not wasting your time on here, I remember talking to you when I was trying to sell my house. Thanks for being there for me.

Adversity and opinions that differ with others is obviously not a strong point for some people. Sorry it is so distressing to you. That was not the intention here. If you think that you or some group of green fanatics will stop the development of the eighth largest find of natural gas in the world, now that would be wasting your time and breath.

Born here-Fracking was done on/ under my property in northern lycoming county and my well water is fine. Maybe i am just one case but everything is fine. It was a noisy messy process but now a year later you would never know they were there.

You are correct leaningright, in fact they have been saying that for as long as I can remember, through many administrations, but nothing happens. But there are many more people who do not take advantage of the system and to group all of them together is wrong. In this case this is clearly corporate welfare and my hard earned tax dollars (all but ACT 13) are going to make some one else richer.

Your right Rick, we should just provide everything for everybody. Thats not how it works Rick.Sorry. I can only assume that a part of my hard earned tax dollars go to support these people that you are so concerned about. I Personally have done quite a bit to help people who really need it Rick, but yeah, i know, to quote CM Reeder, "i spit on the poor" "i am unamerican" Our welfare state needs sorted out like quick Rick.

"Better than downscale apartments and townhouses and section 8 housing." Yes heaven forbid we have housing for the poor, send the poor to live on the streets, we don't want the poor to live, better off they die so we can make even more money. No housing, no health care, but they do have phones and HD tvs. Funny, the gas company comes in, greedy landlords make a buck by raising rents out of reach for must and kick people out, and what do we do, get more high end housing for some out of state guy to make money with money he gets from the tax payers. What a bunch of crap. Glad you think this is so funny leaningright

Yeap, more corporate welfare to house rich CEOs from Texas and Oklahoma. Grant money going to the wealthiest of the wealthy while they destroy our land, water, and forests. Laughing at us all the way to the bank. Unbelievable and criminal.

Those dirty gas companies, how dare them pay $50,000.00 for every well they drill. Everything is all their fault! We should just throw them out of here and make them send their money somewhere else!
