Stephanie Crayton. Donna Lambert. Donna Lambert. Stephanie Crayton. Donna Cayton. Stephanie Lambert. Lambert Crayton. Crayton Lambert.

I really can't tell the difference between them.

Leaningright says, "It only costs a penny if even that to turn on a laser sight." Ok, now, add in some of the cost of the gun, ammo, time spent waiting for someone to try and break in and the time spent in court testifying for the prosecution. I think I will go with the light on the porch.

I'm guessing that applies, primarily, to you folks who are so paranoid...you wear your night-vision goggles to bed.

You don't need any night vision goggles to see where a laser sight is pointed. It lights them up like the 4th of July. All I need to do is pull the trigger.

Sorry folks. I thought that $15 seemed too high so I rechecked my numbers. It costs less than $3 a month to have a 60W light on for 12 hours a day. Who can't afford that?

Donna, A 60W light turned on for 12 hours a day for a month costs about $15. That's a lot cheaper than repairing a broken door or window and I'm guessing that you have more than $15 worth of stuff that could be stolen. It ***** that it has come to that, but why would you want to increase your chance of being a target by being the only house on the block with no lights? If you really can't afford $15 every month, get a cheap motion detector light. Then it will only be on when it has to be. You could consider just buying a good flashlight and a gun so that you can take care of the bad guys once they get inside, but it's better to keep them out in the first place.

Hey Donna, if keeping my outside light on is going to deter someone from breaking into my house the couple of cents it costs in electric use is well worth the cost. It is sad up until a few years ago I would never have even thought of locking my door- fast forward to now and I lock the door and keep the light on. It's like we are living in Pottersville and not Bedford Falls.

No doubt!!!! At first, I'd assumed the S-G (merely) had some space, to fill.

I had no idea Stephanie's PRECISE location was such a "hot-button" issue!!

I'm sure we'll ALL sleep, better, after getting this most-recent update.
