Ida, this is one of your better letters. I have come to ignore those that use racism as a crutch for the ineptness of this presidency. Many presidents have come before him and many were equally condemned for their failed policies or scandals. I would feel absolutely no differently about this president's leadership capabilities regardless of his race. If anything, the democratic party used the fact that he is a well spoken black man to get him in the white house when the majority of Americans hated Bush.

What makes you think he is a good man? Over and over, he has proven that he is a self-centered, narcissistic liar. He has abandoned people to be killed. He has stirred up people to overthrow governments and kill others. He is also ready to take his daughter(s) to the local abortion clinic and kill a defenseless baby, if she got pregnant and didn't want the inconvenience to her life style.

Same, here; I'd expected SOME kind of "honeymoon"-period...during which he'd have been allowed time to settle-into his workplace, and been allowed access to all the "bad"-news about being President. I was wrong...as well.

Seeing-as-how too-many "old timer" Republicans had BEEN trying to get "pay-back", for Nixon's ejection from the Whitehouse...from Carter, ON...Barack Obama's race (obviously) created an extra-SPECIAL reason to go "after" THIS Dem-President...obviously!!! If there are any doubts, one (only) needs reference Mitch McConnell's "welcoming" comments.

One thing's been consistent, ever SINCE he occupied the Oval Office. Those who FIRST bring-up denials of bigotry (regarding his Presidency), have a LONG history of race-based complaints...at EVERY "opportunity"...yet, feig

I still find it sad that the very people who regularly scream 'RACISM' whenever this president is criticized never admit that it's their own racism that makes them think of race as a first defense for Obama.

And what is completely obvious to all thinking individuals is that when a Liberal says that racism is the root of opposition to Obama, they tacitly admit that they have no other defense for him.

Liberals are the ones that believe in race-based quotas, right? Conservatives believe everyone should have an equal chance, right? What group is it that is racist again?

OK I'll bite, Shammy - what does the BBZZZT mean? Are you claiming those statements you buzzed are racist? What makes them so? I think that you explaining that will go a long way to make you understand why you Liberals mistakenly accuse us Conservatives of racism all the time. Nothing you bussed was remotely racist and I suspect you know it. Like I said - yelling racism is an admission that you have no other defense for Obama. We know that, and I bet you know it too.

Ida represents a large segment of the population that is sincere as can be, has examined her own motives and actions, investigated what discrimination is, taken precautions to be fair, and is getting feed up with being accused of what she isn't.

What comment was that Shammy? Was it the one when he said he wanted to make Obama a one-term president? What is racist about that?

Did I get the wrong one? Then why don't you explain yourself and demonstrate the racism you claim was there.

I hope you link some Liberal webpage as your rebuttal. Can't wait for that.

Charges of racism are a distraction from President Obama's multiple failures.

Nothing more, nothing less.

President Obama is a liar.

Many people think that is wrong.

Liberals say if you think lying is wrong, it is because you are a racist.

"Did you know that eating or even talking about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich could be considered racist?

That’s right.

Apparently, it’s because people in some cultures don’t eat sandwich bread. Verenice Gutierrez, principal of Harvey Scott K-8 School in Portland explained in and interview with the Portland Tribune:"--cut n' pasted

If that is the new definition for racist........well I do like and eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I prefer creamy Jif and grape jelly. But I also like peanut butter and honey on toasted bread. Oh!!, this world is just getting soooooo confusing.

I would love to know who clicked the 'Disagree' on Erik's direct quotes of Democrats past and present. What was there to disagree with? Those people said those things. They were Democrats. That cannot be argued.

Vince:

Since the first government was created in Hungary, centuries ago, every time liberals gain power, they re-write the history of their nation to make themselves look superior and to denigrate their opponents.

So, it is no surprise that liberals would deny the direct quotes from some of their own.

President Obama is half black/half white. I have no proof, but I would speculate that there are far less 100% whites that hate him for being half black, then there are 100% blacks who hate him because he's half white.

I dont hear Oprah telling people what she thinks of "the knockout game"(heard of this?) on TV, whys that? I think she is racist. If i saw this happen to somebody the person who did it would have a real problem with me. A can of whoop a_ _ would get opened and that person will crawl away injured for life. I dont care what color the person is. Where is th eoutrage from the black leaders?

leaningright,

"I dont hear Oprah telling people what she thinks of "the knockout game"(heard of this?) on TV, whys that?"

And, we aren't going to.

To call another person a racist, is more often than not, an attempt to denigrate someone else and elevate their self. That is not surprisingly characteristic of a narcissist. The race card is getting old and most people have enough reasons to dislike this President. We truly don't need to use his skin color.

Really, there are so many other reasons besides his race to dislike Obama .Those that scream "raceism" are using his race to excuse all his failures.
