Limbaugh's "Barack The Magic *****". Palin's "Shuck and Jive". Rep. Joe Wilson "You Lie". Gingrich's "Food Stamp President". All the "birther" nonsense. Racist to the very core. Voter suppression tactics aimed at black and minority populations. Why are their votes deemed suspect in the first place? Racism. Nothing, but nothing...gets a racist more riled up than being called one. Own it. You earned it.

Nice commentary Bross on the letter. The writer carefully and meticulously defined true racism, by defining what it is not. Well done, Mr. Robertson.

I was glad to read this letter. It was a well reasoned, civil presentation of the author's point of view. What I find interesting is that no one questioned the author's assessment of Obama. He described Obama as "an intelligent, mature adult who can shoulder criticism and acknowledge his mistakes, and so should his supporters."

Stock Market breaks 1600- through government manipulation. Affordable Health Care for millions of uninsured Americans- made possible through deception and millions more losing their insurance. Ends illegal Iraq War- The war was approved by congress, including democrats. Huge Draw down in Afghanistan- NO, actually he sent thousands more into Afghanistan resulting in 1717 deaths compared to 575 deaths the 8 years Bush was in office. Makes Syria disarm their chemical weapons stockpiles- Well I would give the credit to Putin because of a gaffe by Kerry. Obama pretty much embarrassed himself. Osama Bin Laden Dead- Yea he took all the thunder when in reality it was a joint effort of the intelligence agencies and Special Ops. He basically did what his advisors told him to do. Stops economic disaster left to him by the right wing- Actually it was a democratically controlled Congress.

"No mention that the districts in questioned in regard to Obama's election are or are not racially designed to begin with."-Chuck

What a racist. Racially designed? It's the "tolerant" and "diverse" liberals that pigeonhole people based on race, or gender or religion. Then they try to disguise it by telling us how tolerant they are and how racist everyone else is. How else do you account for people talking about "the black vote". They assume that all black people are the same. That's the definition of bigotry. Chuck fits right in that racist mold, but he tries to hide it by calling those who disagree with him racists.

Nice try USABorn Obama is named after his father who is Muslim and African, Kenyan to be exact. The right who write and use his middle do so to point out that fact trying to prove he isn't American.

Want to know what else is suspicious previous elections candidates took whole districts but no cry of racism. You even had candidates for president take all states but a few like Reagan. But no one ever said it was because of his race. Obama wins twice and takes a whole district in Philadelphia and it is because of race not policy according to the right. This is the idea from the right that they don't throw the race card or race bait.

Bornhere, that study is questionable because he basis his theory strictly on online searches that people perform. He has no idea why these searches were made or how many were made by one individual. To come to a conclusion that these states are the most racist based solely on online searches is extremely misleading. Trust me, I spent a lot of years in the south and to leave out states like North Carolina, Georgia and Florida automatically makes this study suspect.

"You never heard or read anyone from the right calling him by his middle name which shows he is Muslim and African."

The word Muslim indicates ONLY that you are an adherent of islam. Using a middle name to indicate that one is a muslim is racist how?

We have people of various colors in this world and a person of any one of those colors can be a muslim. Therefore, Reeder equating muslim with African is RACIST. But that's what we've come to expect from liberals.

The political pundits on MSDNC and many of the posters on here from the left do not say "some". Their usual rhetoric is saying "Tea Party" or "Conservatives" and then describing any or all opposition from these 2 groups to the Presidents policies as racist based.

Mr. Robertson in his letter states that there are people who do disagree with Obama because of his race. His agreement along with several others here is that because they don't and people they know don't it doesn't happen at all. -Chuck

Chuck, I never said it doesn't happen. I'm not that naive. But what I did say is that many liberals, including some on these very boards, paint those that disagree with Obama with a very broad brush of racism. And to say that it's the right that brings up race is ludicrous. It is constantly being used by the left in defense of Obama. And IMO they are not doing the president any favors because baseless claims like racism when it doesn't even apply, is nothing more than a sign of weakness. Argue your convictions on the facts and reframe from all the excuses.

Mr. Reeder said:

"As a matter a fact all of posts call out liberals as hypocrites on everything. You are always pulling the it is not us it is them."

That's right.

It is liberals who muddy the debate by injection race, gender or something totally unrelated to the issue at hand.

It is liberals who claim they protect women while calling Sarah Palin stupid and praising Hillary Clinton despite her multiple failures in intelligence.

It is liberals who defend President Obama's lies with charges of racism while attacking Allen West and Clarence Thomas.

Yes, it is liberals who are typically the hypocrites.

Do we have some on our side? Yes.

But most of those are Republicans, not conservatives.

It also amazes me how much the right and the Tea party see themselves as individuals and should be judge that way as individuals. But they see all from the left as same and should be judge that way by them .

You never heard or read anyone from the right calling him by his middle name which shows he is Muslim and African. Mr. Robertson in his letter states that there are people who do disagree with Obama because of his race. His agreement along with several others here is that because they don't and people they know don't it doesn't happen at all. There is also the argument that by playing the race card we are also playing the victim card. Yet the right and the Tea party are telling us they are the victims of liberals playing the race card.

Again Mr. Robertson is not the disagreement about policies it is how one makes their disagreement. -Chuck

Chuck, I have never heard anyone here make anything close to racist remarks towards Obama when voicing their disagreement. Are we sometimes harsh in our disagreement. Definitely. But let's not forget the same sediments and worse directed towards Bush, Clinton and many presidents in the past. I believe there is just a lot more visibility to it because of the age of modern media. But regardless, to paint disagreements of Obama's policies as racism when race doesn't enter those disagreements, is baseless. I sill remember the hundreds of protesters carrying caricatures of Bush hanging from a noose outside the White House. How would you label that Chuck?
