Thank you, President Obama

November 26, 2013

Finally under Obamacare your leadership has reduced this country into two classes. These classes are those who belong to the card carrying Obamacare and those who do not....

"The first class is the card carrying member of Obamacare.

This group will grow as the government needs additional money to cover the cost of this act. We know that this group includes the uninsured." - John T. Kovich

*

You DO know the government's (only) involvement is setting the ground-rules, for the for-profit companies who (actually) SELL the health-care plans, right??? I'm guessing, NOT!!

*

"Big insurers and the stock analysts that track them say that once the White House is sure its enrollment website is working, the companies will barrage the airwaves with messages encouraging people to join new health insurance exchanges, either by signing up directly with insurers or by giving the website another shot.

The strategy makes sense: “Obamacare” polls terribly with Americans, but the idea of affordable insurance is a hit. And for the insurance industry, the new health care law isn’t about politics — it’s business."

You forgot some things like the bailout of insurance companies if they cannot produce a profit, the subsidies to people who so-called cannot afford health ins. How many more did you forget - let me count the ways is government involved - let's just say too many to count.

Agreed Carl, and let's not forget Medicaid Expansion.

Oh, and speaking of subsidies Carl, if you haven't checked out the income thresholds for those subsidies, please do. A family of four making 90k a year still rates government subsidies. Pretty generous for a nation that's 17 trillion in debt.

Wait until ObamaCare is in full swing and the system is being pressured to keep costs down. People that are older will get cut rate services to treat cancer, heart disease and other similar ailments. They will be strung along with inferior medical devices and cheaper procedures to correct ailments.

The ObamaCare rep will say they enjoyed a good life, put them out to pasture, treat the young ones aggressively to heal them. They can be more productive for society.

"It's Not Obamacare, It's Business"-Sham

Wrong again. Business has been involved in health insurance for many years. This sudden sky-rocketing of prices is caused by Obamacare. For most people, the prices are higher and the deductibles are higher. The final numbers are not in, but it looks as though my costs will increase by $5000/year and my out of pocket expenses will increase by about $4000/year. That more than triples my healthcare costs and every bit of it is due to Obamacare. But you keep drinking that Kool-Aid Sham, and wait for government to decide when it's time for you to die and stop burdening the healthcare system.

The difference now is that our King has decreed a one-size-fits -all insurance policy for a nation of over 300 million.

Liberals claim they love diversity, but their programs are not diverse.

The difference is the federal gov't is now collecting all sorts of information about you, in one place, to make it easier for the friends of liberals - criminals - to access.

The difference now is that as long as you have a Social Security number (even if it is stolen) you may get a subsidy.....Bienvenidos a los Estados Unidos!

Well get ready because next year, most employer-based healthcare plans will dissolve. Most working people will be forced onto the exchange at a much higher cost than they have ever paid before. More expense to us for healthcare means less money in the economy. This dictator is doing a great job of ruining this country and sadly, this is by design.

A despot president? Please. This area is the king or queen of doom and gloom. Are people here just old? No one is as afraid, paranoid and depressed as folks in this area. Not a positive thought anywhere, ever. This president will no more destroy this country than any other. What rights have you lost? Not what you suspect or think might happen. Individually, name a right.

So we had one class of people before Obamacare. No one ever was dropped from their insurance before Obamacare. We had inexpensive, available healthcare for everyone before Obamcare.

So there is not a doctor or a hospital that's asks for an insurance card in this country. They just will take anyone even though you heard that doctors are not accepting people with a card.

The funniest thing spike, is that the rhetoric and roles are exactly reversed and opposite of what they were from 2004-2008. That's no joke.

"Having experienced socialized medical care in Europe, the theory does not work." If by socialized medical care, you mean universal coverage, it does work. Better in some countries than others to be sure. But, it does work. Germany, France and Japan have systems that work very well.

"Germany, France and Japan have systems that work very well."-DavidBross

First define well. If what you mean is that they have not gone bankrupt yet, then you are correct. If you mean that healthcare is universally available in a timely manner, look again.

Second, even if we assume you are right, the mafia works very well. Do you recommend that? Just because something can be done, does not mean that it should be done.

Spike, this leader has destroyed our healthcare, he has threatened to take our guns away, he has trashed the economy wasting billions of stimulus money to his failed solar companies and other green jobs. He has added many more regulations on businesses. The true unemployment rate is overwhelmingly high, (higher than reported). He and Harry Reid have now changed the filibuster rule so he can stack the courts with his liberal communist judges that will be there for life. Yes this person has done more damage to this country than any before him and he is making sure that we never have a Republican president again.

Now you want to compare Obamcare to the Mafia. Why is it the right always goes there in their arguments? 'Obama is just like Hitler', that is how they will discuss his policies. Now Obamacare is just like the Mafia.
