It certainly is interesting how the Governor and the Republican legislators argued against the severance tax partly because they saidHarrisburg couldn't be trusted to handle the money. Now, not only is Harrisburg trusted with the money but the bill includes millions in discretionary funding. I suppose I should be gratified that Harrisburg has become a responsible repository for taxpayer money in such a short period of time.
