Do the math

December 3, 2013

I'm not writing this letter to argue whether Obamacare is good or bad for the nation. Whether it will succeed or falter....

"The author went on to further state that the website would cost, "over $3 dollars for every man woman and child in this great nation." -Shulski

If you are going to correct someone else's error and quote them, at least quote them correctly. According to your above quote, the author was correct to begin with.

I'll bet Mr. Shulski is just beating himself on the chest with this groundbreaking discovery.

Geico commercial: "Yeah, everybody knows that"..........

"Yeah but did you know Mr. Shulski is going to write a LTE about it"?

Just another Liberal, dumb as a stump, telling people how smart he is.

Mr. Shulski, If you would have read the various on-line web-posted comments to the LTE, you will find that it was all ready pointed out by several.

Now should we continue to point out your quoted error, as Capricorn1 has done so. Who will submit an LTE to it?

Shulski is just another lying, hate-filled liberal, so blinded by that hate, that he does not see his own mistakes while pointing at everyone else's mistakes.

I'd be more interested in an investigation of the company who tried to build this website, how they got the bid, what qualifications they had, that type of thing.

This LTE reminds me of the old saying "when you point a finger at someone else, there are 3 pointing back at you."

Shulski thinks that just because it's only $3 per person that it's OK to spend ten times what it should cost and then have it not work. Or maybe he just thinks that one dumb letter deserves another. Or maybe he thought that the rest of us are as dumb as he is and couldn't do the math in our heads and see the error immediately. The saddest part of this is that out of that whole letter, the math error was the only part he noticed. There was a lot of truth in the letter, but that escaped him, or maybe he just couldn't point out any error in it, and being a Kool-Aid drinking sheep, he had to refute something.

Since a growing number of computer techies (which I am not) are saying the entire web site should be scrapped and rebuilt from scratch, I'd say that was a "close to a billion dollars" not very well spent at all. I agree with Cave, an investigation into the company that built the site (Michelle's classmate's company) and the bidding process should commence before any more work is done on the project. Or we can go back to the way it was and keep the government out of the whole deal. That would be preferable. Just my humble opinion.

Wow. I personally could care less about $3-4.00. I am more concerned with the prospect of milk increasing to $7.00 per gallon. When did any of us ever vote for anyone who could make milk a "luxury" item? Do the rest of you have a problem with generic soda costing $.69-99 per bottle and the anticipated increase on milk?

Drink tap water and switch to soy milk. Better yet, buy some dried soybeans from a local farmer and make your own soy milk.

LOL

The conservatives think their math is better than a liberal's math.

The conservatives think their math is better than a liberal's math.

You mean it isn't? Liberals were the ones that thought the math explaining Obamacare had no faults, after all. How wrong have they been shown to be?

I just read an article on CNBC about the ACA website. David Kennedy testified about the security issues. Interesting read.

Maybe instead of Nation Health Care we should have National Math Class. Call it Obamamath.

Tonight, at 7:00 on FOX NEWS, Greta Van Susteren will have a segment on the ACA web site and the company that slapped it together. It might be interesting to watch. (Yes, liberals/leftists, you can stomach to watch FOX NEWS for one hour. Blood won't shoot from your eyes. And if it does you got your Obamacare, right?)

I looked up that letter he was talking about and it does say three million dollars a person. The editor of Sun Gazette just edited it to make him look like a fool.

The editor didn't have to edit anything to make him look like a fool. He does quite well all on his own.

Um, if you read the original letter, it did say three million dollars. you're the one who sounds like a fool. I fought in the Vietnam War. If it weren't for me and my brothers in arms, you'd be speaking chinese or russian now. so appreciate your free-speech and don't take things at face value.

the original writer clearly stated 3 million, however, most of you have no interest in the facts.

the sun gazette who has proven to be little more than a propaganda machine with the sole purpose of feeding the mouths of pennsyltuckians.

interestingly enough, they edited mr shulski's comments to make him appear dim witted while allowing the original misinformation to go unchecked.

the true travesty is that many of you are so angry about a website that was intended to ease the burden of the middle class by affording all americans health insurance and which was intentionally hijacked by those intent on maintaining the status quo are the very same folks who ignored a 10 year war which cost trillions of dollars and thousands of innocent lives.

not to mention the little temper tantrum that was thrown several months ago which cost the us economy an unwarranted 24 billion dollars.

hypocritical much?
