"When the people from Scranton and Wilkes-Barre attended the meeting for the landlords session, she made a paper airplane and sailed it to Council President Hall."

This doesn't surprise me and the same people that helped put Obama back in office, helped put her back in office. Some people will never learn.

she is a consistent drunk I have no clue how she got into this office, other than mommy and daddys money. She has no life skills other than out drinking others. Find her nightly drunk downtown.

You're a piece of work. But of course you just had to bring up race since you have nothing else. Your race baiting is old news, find some new material.

I haven't watched City Council recently. However, this letter seems to smack of sour grapes. I believe the writer has run for office and never won along with a few individuals she supported in the last election. Am I correct?

It should be noted that all of the incumbents were re-elected for city council. But you just looked for a way to bash Obama.

Never mind that Miele is rude and childish, what she is doing is illegal. By law all debate on issues has to be held in a setting available to the public. These notes are obviously intended to keep Ms. Mieles comments private. Any council member who accepts and reads one of these notes is complicit in the crime. What should happen is that when she passes one of these notes the recipient should read it aloud and have it entered into the record. If this were done the game would cease to be fun and this childish moron would go away.

enigma: Wow, thanks for pointing out this illegal activity. You should storm the next meeting and make a citizen's arrest! Maybe you could construct a gun using your index finger and thumb?

DeanWormer, What kind of moron wants politicians committing crimes? Put another way, what kind of moron are you? If you knew anything about the law you would know that this is not a crime for which a citizen's arrest can be made, it has to be resolved by a lawsuit. Since I am not a resident of Williamsport, I have no standing to bring such a suit and I'm not even suggesting that someone should. If this behavior can be remedied without involving a court then it should be, but it should be remedied. You just keep on defending law breaking politicians and see how long your freedom lasts.

If this paper airplane incident did happen, when did it happen? Before the last election? If it was prior to election day, you should have made this known to all in a letter to the editor at that time. The same goes for the note-passing. (I agree with Enigma on that one) To upeoplercrazy; I did go check out her Facebook page as you suggested and I see nothing wrong with it. Exactly what about it do you find "Not very professional"? It is a personal FB page, not a business or government related page. Please, show us your FB page. PS. Not that did matters, but I am not a supporter of Ms. Miele nor did I vote for her.

If note passing in local City Council meetings makes "enigma" go ballistic, I can't imagine the reaction to the Republican-led do-nothing Congress. I mean these clowns voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act 40+ times!

By all means we should try to hold up to the high ethical and moral standards of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton politicians.

Regardless of what you think of Ms. Miele, habitually being late, passing notes throughout the meetings and flying paper airplanes is not the behavior we should accept from our elected leaders for this city. We get enough childish behavior on Capitol Hill.

Enigma, you might want to slow down on the name-calling. First, passing notes isn't necessarily illegal in a council meeting. There could be a perfectly rational reason behind the notes (reminding a council member of something they WANTED to say on the record, perhaps?) Second, if a lawsuit needs to be filed to get this stopped then by definition the note passing isn't a criminal offense.

Dean- I would vote 100 times or even a 1000 times to repeal the GARBAGE ACA Act. That is what it is and it really stinks. Disrupt 90 percent of the population for the 10 percent that aren't insured, that makes no sense at all. It is not over yet, the website was or is just the beginning of the problem with this worthless piece of what they choose to call a law. I hope the next republican president wipes it off of the globe on his first day on the job with an executive order.

We don't have a do-nothing "Congress," we have a do-nothing DUMBOCRAT LED SENATE. The REPUBLICAN LED HOUSE has passed dozens of bills which Dirty Harry won't even bring up for a vote. So, the HOUSE voted on a resolution 40 times, that is 40 times more action then we've had out of the DO NOTHING SENATE!

It is a shame and disgrace that supposedly grown adults don't know Congress is composed of TWO PARTS, the Senate and House. And these people actually VOTE??????
