Shame on PCHPG

December 15, 2013

What would you think of a study of infants that concluded, "heart disease has modest impact on human health?" Or one that described a disease's impact as "modest" because it is fairly rare, despite......

And here's 1 more before I sign off.

Dimock gas well shut down due to well water contamination found in 2 properties. July 14, 2013

DEP has determined a natural gas well is not viable due to leaking methane and will have to be plugged, regulators said a "frozen vent" helped them identify the suspected gas well, Cabot's Costello 1.

So is oil and gas drilling really safe, I would say no. The information I posted on here can be found on the DEP's website.

XTO Energy is accused of polluting groundwater with fracking waste water in Hughesville, Pa.

Feds sue ExxonMobile over Mayflower Arkansas oil spill July 13, 2013

The lawsuit is based on the fact that the pipeline caused a release of Canadian tar sands oil that has polluted the state's air, soil, and water and has caused a significant and lasting negative impact upon the state's environment.

In May 2011 DEP fined Chesapeake Energy $900,000 for contaminating the drinking water of 16 families in Bradford County, DEP Mike Krancer said "The water well contamination penalty is the largest penalty DEP has ever issued against an oil or gas operator"

See: portal dot state dot pa dot us

So it makes one wonder how safe hydraulic fracking really is when you read documents like this.

Yes Eric, I believe Mr.Kesich has made up his mind, but I don't think he is the only one here who has made up their minds (on most every subject) and will attack any and all who do not believe exactly as they do.

What parameter is so toxic? Where does it come from? Are you aware that thousands of people have their drinking water wells drilled into the Marcellus Formation between Elimsport and Danville?

Ever read about the drinking water limit for Nitrate? Based on the possibility that babies will get nitrogen poisoning. World Health Organization estimates that as many as 4, yes 4, such occurrences happen each year in the world!

Was not that long ago when Pa DER was going to shut down EVERY restaurant in Tioga County for serving drinking water with Barium in it. It is a fact of life in Tioga County.

Mr. Kesich:

It is YOU who is flawed.

You have made up your mind and then attack any evidence contrary to your worldview.

You are like a racist who dismisses studies that blacks are equally intelligent as whites by pointing to their higher unemployment school drop out rates.

You will never be convinced that hydraulic fracturing is safe because your mind was closed before it became informed.
