There have been ongoing "codes" violations throughout the city which have simply been ignored. Codes officers are not police officers. How are they going to be able to protect themselves when going into these "horrid drug dens"? Has anyone ever thought about something as simple as Landlord Training Programs (google US. Dept. of Justice)? What you are doing is not only dangerous but just "relocating" the problem. What and who is next on the list????

I agree but am still not convinced the so called beefed up codes department is the correct way to go about cleaning up the drug problem in the city. One of the aspects of the beefed up codes is the appointment of the extra landlord police who may for reason only known to them will go after others for the so called codes violations.
