Lawmakers should find ways to fire - and possibly prosecute - any top brass refusing to comply.

I would go further anyone (period) caught refusing to comply should be prosecuted.

"The Pentagon cannot account for more than $8 trillion U.S. taxpayers have given it since 1996, according to a news report by the Reuters news agency.

Yet, even as the Defense Department insists it needs more money to defend the nation, officials admit waste and fraud are rampant.

Clearly, the Pentagon is rotten to the core. Members of Congress are reminded of that regularly."

Gimme a BREAK!!!!! The last SEVERAL times Congress has boosted the military's budget, there have been PLENTY of people...withIN the military...who've said they don't NEED the amount$ Congress has insisted-upon!!!!!

Even David Stockman knew better!!!

LAMB: We’re now down to 285 naval ships. And our defense budget’s way beyond what it was when you were there. What is the need of, yeah he wanted a 600 ship navy. And now how come we get along with 285 ships?

STOCKMAN: Because we never needed the 600 ship navy.
