Apparently, some of my more conservative posters have never been at the receiving end of a judgment set down by Butts. As I stated the the other letter that sang her praises, I have been the recipient of her liberal and misguided justice and I wasn't facing any criminal charges. But, her bench decisions are reflective of her ideals and the law should reflect just that...the law.

"I personally know Butts to be a very moral individual."

Any judge who sets on a bench should never (although it is rampant across the country) and make this statement: "I don't care what the law says, this is my ruling." Sure, that's a moral person?

Judge Butts tries to and often does a great job. She deserves much credit for the battles she is willing to take on. I don't think "Hero" is applicable nor do I think she see's herself as one. She is an excellent role model for girls. I hope she speaks to Junior High School and High School girls and encourages them to pursue their dreams. She did and has accomplished much in the process.

Shulski-"Personally, ....I like a balance of collectivism and individualism."

When I read that I got the impression that what it meant was a 'leave me alone to do what I want but give me the money to do it' type of thing.

USAborn, I agree that Judge Butts deserved this award, the problem is you can't believe if he is being genuine or not. One minute he's a radical liberal, and the next minute he's a radical conservative and Vietnam war hero.

Shulski is not well liked for his idiotic comments, but he is right that the Judge is an honorable person.

Shulski/RealAmerican, you have proven time and time again on these message boards that you are nothing more than a fraud and anything you state lacks all credibility.
