Numbers show sky did not fall from partial shutdown

January 11, 2014

Steelman, they were simply stating the truth, that's very different from "blaming" the other party. Here's an example of not taking repsonsibility for your actions. We now know the truth about Iraq. Yet in interviews Dubya states that he would do everything the same way, wouldn't change a thing! That right there shows how lacking this man is when it come to intelligence. He has none, zip, zero!!! However, reporting the truth, is just that. Pbs, MSNBC, CNBC all have the right to report the truth, so why wouldn't they???

Liberals (like Jesus) don't need to blame anyone, in fact we even take responsibility for our actions... unlike the right wing extreme. Now, Iraq (don't mention that it's in the past), Guantanamo (stop blaming Bush), Afghanistan (ditto last comment). It's time the right wing extreme take some responsibility. President Obama has done everything possible to work with this Congress! The right wing Congress has chosen to sit this election cycle out and NOT do their jobs. Hopefully the American people will wake up and vote them out in November, only then will we behold a functioning Congress! Remember, when you blame one party without facts, you do a true diservice to your own! Some people would tell you to grow up, I simply say educate yourself!

Obama lies: maybe keep your healthcare plan, save on your premiums, shovel ready jobs, Guantanamo Bay and so on.

That'd be "...ALL the claims made by Dumbama WERE..".

Now, you "only" need to provide some examples o' what you're whining-about.

Jeez..."someone's" badly in-need of a Pity Party.

I'd donate all the Kleenex (required), but all the Republicans' whining-and-crying (i.e. The Palin/FAUX Noise Syndrome), has driven wholesale-prices thru the ceiling.

Whether the "sky fell" or not is hardly the point. We skated with minimal damage from the partial shutdown only by a small margin. It might not have worked out that way.

For the Right to risk the "sky falling" speaks volumes to the lengths they will go to to obstruct any agenda of the current administration.

It is pitiful that this rag continues to support the extreme right that even top GOP's are beginning to run from.
