President Obama has a white mother, whom he lived with. His black father was no where to be found. Hmmmm... did they live in Williamsport? He isn't a Muslim, he seems to be a good husband and father, bad President. I don't know if he only identifies with the black community and why he has turned his back on his white heritage.

Actually he said he had ancestors who were in the PA KKK.

Now the white vote has become a Republican problem. White voters cast 72 percent of all votes in the Obama-Romney election of 2012 compared to 87 percent in the Nixon-McGovern contest in 1972.-MrShaman

My mistake--by those numbers I was probably off by a few decades.-Scott

Shaman, you stated in one of your posts months ago that you found out that you had ancestors that were slave owners. Are you now stating something different? Trust me, that isn't something I would be mistaken about because for awhile after that I would give you a pass for your constant insistence of throwing the race card.

Should the Republican Party accept the fact that the white majority in the United States is getting smaller or should it bet on boosting Republican margins and turnout rates among whites to record levels?"

No. All my ancestors were Northerners/immigrants...who (unlike Red State ancestory) preferred to do their own work, themselves.

Shaman reading your comments is like watching the movie Groundhog Day. You really need to get over the fact that your ancestors were slave owners. You are overcompensating to try to make things right with yourself.

Vince, when a letter like this baits the reader what do you expect? It is a shame race ever came up during his presidency. This nation was not ready yet, I thought it was but I was wrong.

Bobbie- this may be complex for you. Legal support and the legality or illegality, which I agree is abhorrent, is vastly different than personal belief. This individual may disagree with Nambla yet that does not erase a legal issue. Legal decisions are not based on personal belief but on precedent. Try to think of something that you oppose yet accept as legal.

Vince, those people do not represent all of the right any more than MSMBC represents all the left.

Thanks Rick for that clarity. Will you now take to speaking out against this whenever other Liberals make these blanket racist claims, as Chuck did earlier here and as many Liberals do in this forum?

Fair enough Rick. But let me ask you this one question - do you claim that those couple people you know represent the entire Right Wing? Chuck's comment did, and that was the comment I challenged and was what led me to logically conclude that if Chuck thinks a few wackos represent my political ideology, then a few wackos on your side must also represent yours.

On that same note, Rick, do you disagree with the common Liberal assertion that criticizing Obama is inherently racist almost as a default argument, the way it is claimed daily on MSNBC or CNN??

Vince your comment is very unfair. I never once said opposing Obama is racists. I do know some people that oppose Obama that are racists by telling me that n should never be in office. Now that sounds racists. For the record they are republicans. I still talk to them but try to leave politics out of the conversation.

Everybody that participates in this forum has noticed that Chuck has avoided the challenge I have put to him - to pick a Conservative criticism of Obama and explain how it was racist. The absence of Chuck's or other Liberal's response to that challenge it blaring in it's absence.

Glad to know that you, Chuck, are incapable of justifying your initial comment here.

Hypocrite you arem Chuck, as everybody here already knows.

Chuck, I have asked this of you and other Liberals many times. Perhaps today you will answer this. Tell us what is racist about opposing Obama?

It is obvious why Chuck or other Liberals have avoided this challenge. It's because they can't meet it. Hypocrites, all of them.;

I am American. My parents were American as well as my great-grandparents. By George, they did come here from another part of the world but I could not tell you from where.(lost records) maybe it was from a different world who knows and further more who cares! I am just thankful everyday that I was born in this great country. It feels like we are being torn apart with all of this silly division.

"Sorry it has been pointed out many times how racist the right is any more they are just in denial. There is a political right wing group calling for the lynching of President Obama..." —CMReeder

There is a political Left wing group, NAMBLA, which calls for legalized child molestation, specifically men on boys.

Therefore, Charles M. Reeder is a child molester, specifically boys. He will deny that, which is proof of his boy love.
