So instead of sniping from the sidelines, how about offering your solutions to offering cheaper insurance to seniors? Silence? Just what I figured...

This is the problem, Shaman is correct. If this were truly "government insurance" everyone would already have been signed up BY the government. As far as the price goes, It's great! I can't say enough good things about it from the people I know. I have a nephew who was paying over $800. per paycheck ($1,600.00 per month), for he, his wife and two children. Under the ACA he's paying $488. per month. Just because you're not making out doesn't mean it's not helping othes. Look at your party, they're making out great financially, but they're leaving their flock in the dust! Laughing......

How many different ways ARE there, to explain (to "conservatives") that the government hasn't "taken over" ANYTHING, when it comes to health-insurance.

You're STILL dealing with for-profit insurance-companies...no matter what FAUX Noise & Porky Limbaugh are telling you.

"Liberal strategy? Wasn't it conservatives who wanted cuts to entitlements? Can't have it both ways..."

The problem with your thinking is that social security and mediCARE are NOT entitlements. MediCAID, FOOD STAMPS and other WELFARE programs are entitlements that are costing trillions funded by WORKING taxpayers.

Here's another thought.

Obamacare will BEGIN "taking-over" health-care...right around the same time "conservatives" learn what constitutes an incomplete-sentence.

"Many senior citizens already have been notified the premiums they pay for Medicare Advantage health insurance are going up - because of a 2 percent cut in federal reimbursements to insurance companies and health care providers."

Yeah...those "poor" insurance-companies & Big Pharma; no more Bu$h-Buck$, for them.

"Consumers are getting hurt and taxpayers fleeced, while insurance companies and drug manufacturers are RAKING IN money FASTER THAN THEY CAN COUNT IT. Congress needs to move away from this deeply flawed privatization model, and instead focus on strengthening Medicare."
