Still, why wouldn't anybody chose to be Superman. I mean, he's indestructible. Say it slow.: can not be kilt. Plus, he can leap like out into space and back with no source of power other that the kinetic energy provided by his legs in his initial leap. He's got X-ray vision. Girls. Nuff said. I'd bet he's got a super everything. "Man of steel". Ghosts what the girls say.

I want yo be Superman. George Reeves style only.

It took the writer this long to discover the difference between fantasy and reality. The difference between real life and screen life.

Everyone has the potential for doing good, they have to be able to tap into it.

Nice letter.

Today's story for the Trinity pre-K class is about the Israelites leaving Egypt and coming to the sea. Trapped by Pharoh and his armies on one side and trapped by the water on the other; no where to go and all seems hopeless. But then God provides in their time of need. He sends the winds and creates a path so the Israelites can escape. Main point: God provides.

Similarly when we are separated from God because of our sin, God provides. He provides His son Jesus to take away our sin so we can spend eternity with Him. Do you want to trust in Jesus?

What I loved about Marvel comics is that the heroes were ordinary people. Peter Parker was late paying rent while saving millions from thieves, yet the press made Spiderman out to be a villain.

Captain America had trouble adjusting to a world 70 years changed.

Even Tony Stark lost his wealth due to alcoholism despite being Iron Man.

The lessons I learned from super heroes is that the hero is not the powers or special gifts, but the woman or man underneath.
