January 26, 2014

Well, it didn't take long for the topic of "Bridgegate" to reach the letters column. If Christie is lying, he's done. If not, he has a good shot at the White House....

Even with Christi, the Republicans have nobody who can beat Hillary with one exception: Condi Rice. The only problem is, at this point Dr. Rice has said she won't run for President. I hope she changes her mind.

'Even with Christi, the Republicans have nobody who can beat Hillary'

What is sad is that anyone would vote for Hillary Clinton. She's proven herself to be incompetent and a liar, and STILL the people flock to her. Why can't we find people with integrity?

The right is getting a taste of their own medicine and they don't like it.

Chuck, I don't think it's a matter of Republican's getting a taste of their own medicine, I think it's more likely the Democratic party fears Christie and they will take any opportunity to try and bring him down.

One big difference between Republicans and Democrats in this issue, the Republicans are saying if he did it then he doesn't derserve to hold office. Democrats circle the wagons, defend and support their's.

Well Capricorn1 it is obvious that the right fears Hillary. The right is not as solid and stand up as they think they are.

If Governor Christie comes out and said tomorrow he was sorry, the republicans would forgive him and elect him.

The right doesn't fear Hillary as much as it fears the people who would elect her despite her lack of moral fortitude and very questionable leadership abilities.

Christie already said he was sorry on Jan. 9th. That was over 2 weeks ago.

Chuck, I totally agree that Republicans fear Hilary, and rightly so because unless they come up with a viable candidate, the same people that elected Obama, are going to elect Hilary. I'll never understand it, but it is what it is.

Although I think she has some ethics issues, she does have some leadership abilities that will definitely be a step up from what we have now.

gavinf56-"Although I think she has some ethics issues, she does have some leadership abilities..."

I don't know, Gavin. She sure didn't know much about what went on in Benghazi. That was under her jurisdiction and she didn't show much leadership in that situation. "But what does it matter now?"

Chuck, do you remember when during the democratic primaries when Hillary said she was the only one capable of handling that phone call at 3 AM not Obama?

Turns out Ambassador Stevens couldn't count on either.

Premier:

That ad will destroy Hillary in 2016.

The phone is ringing, it is Amassador Stevens, begging for help (show his body being dragged through the streets), then the phone keeps ringing.

Then, cut to Clinton saying "What difference does it make?"

Interesting that Steve Kornacki's breaking news from last week with Hoboken's Mayor Dawn Zimmer is quickly appearing to be a lie.

You fear the people who would elect her! Like who, minorities, women, gays or do you just fear any and all democrats/liberals.

That small comment about the people who would vote for her says more about members of the right than it does the people who would vote for Hillary. No wonder the right tries so hard to suppress the vote in the US.

Mr. Reeder said:

"No wonder the right tries so hard to suppress the vote in the US."

Why don't you shut your filthy mouth, you liberal slimetroll and focus on a sitting Governor who said people holding certain political views were not welcome in "his" state?

Liberals, like you, are the most wretched human beings imaginable.

Erik, if you are only interested in having your own opinions parroted back at you, then I suggest that have a conversation with yourself in the mirror.
