This is what I would expect to come out of the Democratic Party. Obama is leading the parade of the "unqualified politicians" demanding they are qualified yet with no real world leadership or business experience. You to can be the dumbest guy in the room and still be president.

Republican or Democrat, there's really not much up for debate here. Little if anything has improved in the DC system, and the gentleman in question is decidedly unqualified for the Norway (or probably any other) State Department assignment.

In the words of Hillary Rodham Clinton: "What difference does it make?"

Weird, I didn't see where the author of this article cited the parts it directly plagiarized from the yahoo article (which itself correctly cited the Norwegian news source it quoted)...

Lovely. I think I need a shower after reading this disgusting article and some revealing comments. What a turd.

I would not want to be the ambassador to anywhere, especially if Hillary Clinton has anything to do with it. We all saw how well she took care of that.

Norway just voted out the socialist bureaucracy and voted in non-socialist conservatives, so I'm guessing President Obama wants someone to "keep an eye on" Conservative Party leader Erna Solberg (Iron Erna).

Obama has proven he is worse than any President and now his hope and change has become a Sell off of diplomatic posts. I hope if I give you enough money I can buy Norway. I have met Mt. Tsunis and have had dealings with him and while he has done some great developments here I would never do business with him again. I would not trust him and the great Norwegian people should not either.

I don't care if ambassador posts were up for big donors in the past.

Obama said he would bring a new tone to Washington.....instead, its the same, lame song.

And this is not only characteristic of the Obama administration. Ambassadorial posts to most "desirable" countries and are prizes saved for deep pocket political supporters. Foreign Service Officers get stuck with the rest. Thanks Mr Tsunis for what you've invested in our city, but maybe work on that political science degree before representing us abroad.

A great example of President Obama being bribed to name an ambassador who knows nothing about the nation he would be liaising.

It is an insult to Norway, and an insult to the citizens of the United States.
