A gentle boom

February 3, 2014

I didn't know James Robinson. When my wife read me the first article in the paper about a man killed in an accident involving a city cruiser, I thought, what an awful thing to happen....

Our memories also from this fine young man taking care of customers at Giant. What a fabulous employee Giant found in Boomer. Great guy. Very genuine, pleasant and helpful to people. Just a really decent human being. The tragedy of his untimely death cannot dim the light of our memory of how he conducted himself and served others during his time on this earth. His reward in heaven is great.

Lovely tribute.

When a good person dies it saddens the heart when they die tragically it becomes a tragedy and heartbreaking.

Nice letter. He was a light for Giant and his "giant gentle spirit" was and will remain duly noted.

I too didn't know him by name, other than Boomer. I didn't personally work with him at Giant, he started there after my time there, but I think my brother did. I remember seeing him working when I shopped there. I didn't realize it was him until I saw the picture in the obituary. Dang shame what happened.

We have all been touched by people, like Boomer, in our lives.

What a nice letter. Thank you for writing to say what a special man he was and not go into the detail of how the tragedy happened, etc.
