So as long as the uninsured, use the ER as their primary care provider we are going to keep paying through the nose for little Johnny to get his two aspirin.

Yes I think affordable health care for all seams like a sensible idea. -farmer

Only one problem, studies are already showing that emergency room visits for nonemergency conditions are already rising under Medicaid Expansion. Just because you sign someone up for a program, doesn't mean it's going to change the behavior when they aren't paying the bill. So in essence the taxpayers are on the hook for even more in a program that was suppose to reduce the cost.

"Sideliner, do you mean all emergency room care is free? " Yes Premier, if you show up in the ER without insurance and no money to pay, the care is free. At least to you it is. Of course the rest of us end up paying the bill. And what a bill it is, especially if you where in a serious accident. Now don't get me wrong, if you came to the ER because your back has been hurting for the past few weeks, or your son has been coughing all night, that would cost us a ton of money too. You see the ER provides the most expensive health care around, and they may not turn anyone away. So as long as the uninsured, use the ER as their primary care provider we are going to keep paying through the nose for little Johnny to get his two aspirin.

Yes I think affordable health care for all seams like a sensible idea.

I agree with your letter Jerry A. Cline.

There is only one legitimate reason for being against Picture ID for anything: Without a photo ID, it's much easier to impersonate someone.

In the case of voting, the anti-ID folks know it would cost them many votes if impersonation of another person weren't so easy.

Sideliner, do you mean all emergency room care is free? How do I sign up? Hope I don't need an ID for enrollment in this entitlement or that would defeat the purpose.

The Liberal flippancy about I D fraud in the U.S. says much about the state of politics today. With the Democratic Party in control, as long as laws can be bent or even ignored to give advantage to the Party, the Liberal voting block rejoices.

See: Sham, Reeder, Rick, et. al.

P.S. But did you see how they complained when, despite "finding" more ballots in the Presidential election, GWB still won. If the U.S. Supreme Court would have involved themselves in the decisions, the Libs would have sued the Court for installing the President. And we KNOW there was no voter fraud in Broward County, Florida that year....

Conservatives stand for less government intrusion and should rally against voter ID. It is more government rules and regulations that are being shoved down our throats. Just like the Nazis - show me your papers.

IT makes me sick reading the negative comments that mean nothing toward such a down to earth letter that is pure truth. That letter is as honest as day is long. I guess some people need to loose all their freedom and everything they worked for all their lives before they wake us and see what this country is heading for.EXAMPLE- its so ad now that when you speak the truth almost everyone bashes ya. GREAT LETTER JERRY CLINE GOD BLESS YOU FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH.

"I keep hearing about the "right" to vote and the "right" for healthcare for all. Yet how can hospitals and other medical facilities currently require the proof of ID? Isn't this also leaving out the disenfranchised and the elderly? Is their right to vote more important than their right to healthcare? It seems odd that the only thing liberals are against when it comes to ID requirement is voting. Why is that?" - Capricorn1

Well Cap, If I went to a hospital I sure****well want them to know who I am before they take an arm off. But if you don't want to use it go ahead Now no one has answered my question which I repeatedly asked in the past. As for this discussion I think Reeder had the right response.
