Wow. That should do alot to move the country forward. I see this as a piece of legislation that should take staff 20 minutes to write and 10 minutes to vote. What an accomplishment. Are you kidding me?

Republicans have no problem being big government, they just don't see that way. They believe they saving the morality of people.

The animal fighting is very much a part of southern culture. Erik just demonstrates how little he truly knows. As a matter of fact pitting animals against one another for entertainment has no cultural barrier. Ancient Rome had them, they even threw in humans to liven it up.

Did you know that it is not a federal crime to murder someone? It's true. Murder is a state crime.

This law, however well intended it is, make a federal crime something that was already illegal in 49 states. State's Rights used to be something championed by the GOP, but sadly that fell to the wayside after 9/11. The Democrats what to solve your problems, that's what they do, but the GOP is supposed to what less government in our lives. Is this new federal law less government?

The Tenth amendment is part of Bill of Rights, it is supposed to stand for something.

"Anyone who would get their jollies off on watching animals fight in a ring are the sickest there are amongst us." - Premier

I think a more-accurately-descriptive term would be "cowards"...much like those politicians who aggressively-AVOIDED military-service (during the 'Nam years), but are MORE-than-happy to launch the next, NEW War!!!!

Anyone who would get their jollies off on watching animals fight in a ring are the sickest there are amongst us. The penalty for this should match what the animals went through.
