CMReeder: I'm glad you got those figures because I was but, considering who I have been replying to they never want to go back to the 'Bush Years', you know comparing 'apples to apples'! The 'Bush Years' destroyed our economy, crashing the stock market, unemployment went sky high, etc. but, to them that never happen! Facts are facts and I guess we will let history take over. It's like a baseball game, the other team had more runs at the end but,we really won the game as long as we BELIEVE that was the out come. One more thing,'GoBB62' is a great example of "Brainwashing"!

Every past President was criticized for using executive order and some found them before the Supreme Court and being ruled unconstitutional but not many. Past Presidents have used and some have abused the executive order and still the President has that ability no matter how much Congress tries to curb it. No matter how much the opposition criticizes it.

"He will go down in history as one of the worst puppets the democrats ever elected" Now that's kinda well umm making me giggle-Garbin78

Good thing you limited your opinion to "Democrats". As to your giggling, you must be easily amused--considering the last Rep. whom occupied the Oval Office. If you feel that there are any "bragging rights" in his terms, I would simply Love to hear them!! LOL-Scott

I don't think Bush was acting like such a crybaby, going so far as to announcing his intentions.-GoBB62

You mean like forbidding anyone around him from testifying to Congress about him breaking laws regarding Judges???? Just wondering-Scott

What that you are a blind as a bat conservative. He has the constitutional power to act if Congress refuses to do so. You can call it bragging all you want, bottom line he has the power to do so and he is not the first president to use those powers. You just hold him to a different standard than previous presidents.

By the way the opposing party always complains about any president using those powers but truthfully they force the president to do so, every time.

You cry foul while committing a foul.

It is not a brag. It is a fact he has other options if Congress refuses to act. If they don't want to do their job he will do his.

"So Chukles, is that how you justify Obama's dictator-like intentions, Two wrongs make a right????"

That would be Chuckles to you, I answered your question which implied that Obama was the only one doing wrong by using that constitutional power. That he alone abused that power and uses it more than any other President. It would seem you think it is okay to hold President Obama to a different standard than past presidents.

Since you asked crybaby I will be more than happy to tell you. By the way there is a list of Presidents and the number of executive orders they issued while President. They have all done so some way more than others. But I will limit it to the modern Presidents starting with Reagan.

Reagan - 381 (1st term266, 2nd term 168) Bush41 - 166 Clinton - 364 (1st 200, 2nd 164) Bush43 - 291 (1st 173, 2nd 118) Obama - 168 (1st 147, 2nd and counting 21)

Cry a little harder now!

This may be a little off the subject that is going nowhere fast but, I picked up the S.G.that was laying on a table in Wegmans (I think they should call it "The Daily Worker") and notice a cartoon of OUR PRESIDENT with the caption "A government of laws (X over laws) and not of men"-John Adams. If you find "Maturity" in this cartoon you got a real problem! The statement made by John Adams was in reference to the 'British Constitution'. The S.G. doesn't use the first amendment they "ABUSE" the first amendment! This cartoon was about 'executive orders"so can anyone in the REDZONE tell me how many times did G.W. use this power? Let's make this fair.

So, the course was set in 2009-2010 and has remained since.-eriklatranyi President Obama's first two years in office were with a filibuster-proof House and Senate.-eriklatranyi

As to the first statement, you are proud of that??? The Rep/T-Party House has done nothing--THAT makes you proud????

As for your 2nd statement, better look it up--It(Senate) was not filibuster proof, no matter how many times you hear it on FOX, or the radio. If memory serves, a lot was blocked in the Senate. Your turn. Have a Safe, & Happy evening!!-Scott
