Loyalty and support

February 24, 2014

I had the belief if one supported his or her political party the reward would be that the party would support the candidate. Let us consider the vice president....

Hi Cap! I rarely disagree with you, but I don't see 2016 as anything but a Republican win. Obama's failed policies, along with the nightmare of deficit increase, the numerous scandals still unfolding and finally the infamous Obamacare Act? Not going to happen. IMO, 2016 is a shoe-in for Republicans. Obama has done nothing, zero, zilch....other than divide the country and it is no longer about Media choosing, because people are fed up and they are angry. They (including Dem's) are rethinking positions. Like I said before, what is anyone going to do if Obama doesn't leave office? No one ever answers this question - hate that satellite spying, right?

As history goes there have only been 13 vice-presidents that became president but, there were circumstances in some elections. So,if Joe is not the first pick he's not alone as history goes.

So Obama only won because he is black and Hillary will only win because she is a woman.

Well if the Republicans keep holding that hardline conservative agenda they will lose.-CMReeder

LOL, and the most incredible part of all this is, you can flat out TELL them this mistake, & they will keep repeating it!!!-Have a safe, & Happy day!!!-Scott

No different than democrats using Obama....-Capricorn1

Say it enough times.., So, please enlighten me as to how "W" would have won/be placed in the oval office if his last name had been Jones, or Smith???? Are you suggesting that he was picked for his intellect??? IMO, he was picked because of his name, nothing more.-Scott BTW, It could be said that any political party "uses" a candidate,(to run) that is how it is supposed to work. There is one example of an exception to this rule, Ross Perot(spelling?)-something to muse on. Possibly Ron Paul??

In the days of mass media, they decide who gets elected and with the exception of Fox, Hillary will dominate the airwaves.-Capricorn1

Your 'Independent" side is oozing out again, as usual.-Be Safe!!!-Scott

P.S.- Has it ever occurred to you that these days of "mass media" serve to enlighten the masses as to what is being proposed/said/done on BOTH sides of the coin?? My personal belief is that this is the worst thing that can happen to the Con./TP sides of most issues.-Scott

Garben78, I actually wanted Hillary over Pres. Obama. The republicans helped him win the nomination over Hillary,so you get what you pay for. I am not voting for anyone just because of sex or color, I vote on issues that are important to me. I know I am a "degenerate liberal liar" (some need to find new buzz words)I stand up for things I believe in just as you do.

Nope sorry but I don't smell bacon just half rotten halibut or is it sucker fish I smell anyways to vote Hillary aka the Benghazi murderer in to office would sure show how naive some voters are. If you just vote for someone because of their sex is no different then the last folly of voting someone in for their color as clearly he had no more experience then any local college professor actually I'm sure they'd have more period

Cheyenne, Ooops I made a mistake, in Virginia if you were pregnant you would be a 3rd class citizen, the fetus 2nd,whatever the men say 1st. You may not agree with what I am saying but you are a woman first we should stand together on womens issues. So you don't agree with abortions? Don't have one. Don't take that choice away from a woman who may choose that. Pray you or someone you love never has to make that choice, but you should be able to make your own choices.

Cheyenne, you must be the kind of woman who likes to be told what to do by men, are you? The "he man women haters club" was on an old tv show called "Little Rascals" again no mention of war on women. Just remember you are a second class citizen to many men do not forget that. Capricorn1,you are correct about them putting Obama up because he is well spoken. Sarah Palin was not,she was misinformed and not coached well by the Republicans, they helped make her look less intelligent than she was. You see Cheyenne thats what some men from your party do to women, use them for their benefit, then when things go bad or not the way they wanted they turn their back on you as they did Sarah Palin. I am in no way saying ALL men are like that, just many republicans.

Well if the Republicans keep holding that hardline conservative agenda they will lose.

Simple fact Obama's stimulus programs worked the economy grew and the European nations that went to draconian conservative austerity measures and lagging behind the US economically. The US is headed to dominate the 21st century. Conservative programs don't work.

"I actually felt bad for Sarah Palin, she was used by the republicans to try and swing the womens vote," --LauriH

No different than democrats using Obama because he is a well spoken black man in order for the country to elect it's first black president. And it was a brilliant decision. Media latched on to the idea and it worked. The same will hold true in 2016 with regards to electing our first Madam President. IMO republicans have NO chance in 2016. In the days of mass media, they decide who gets elected and with the exception of Fox, Hillary will dominate the airwaves. Republican's only hope is to take control of Congress.

Lighten up? Why Lauri? Because I pointed out that your comment is just as bigoted and idiotic as the Senator's "host" comment? Perhaps I am mistaken, but I assumed the "he-man woman haters club" is just another piece of nonsense propaganda, the same as "war on women" is. Is it?

That's about the size of it, that way they have nothing to fear.(well maybe alfalfa)-Scott
