All I observe is 35 hours a week, no overtime, not fighting a several year payroll freeze, and a union that shows little regard for the actual performance of their members. The periodic glossy full color "magazine" from the state union is nothing but antipartisan polital spew with some self congratulating thrown in. That kind of behavior gnaws on my taxpaying nerves.

The price for union benefits is that all members must contribute to enjoy the advantages collective bargaining provides (40 hr week, OT pay, fair treatment , no firing the old to save salary costs)
