Jan 25 article says through a $100k grant fazzino will paint an 8foot mural with 35 fifth graders. So yes that is a lot of money for an 8 foot painting and a speech, and yes i sterotyped that kid cause he is probably living somewhere on park ave.

From theory your comments seem to be making some pretty serious assumptions not based on any facts contained in the story. It would kind of be like me making the assumption that since you are from the 'Port and made that comment that you are a racist and a bigot. However I would never make that assumption......

I must have missed the area of the article where they listed this young man's address. Unless of course you are presuming he is "from the ghetto" by his skin color. But I would hate to think that one would make such an ignorant, racist presumption.

As to what the esteemed artist did for his wages, it went beyond merely a "photo-op". Among other things, he held an assembly for 1,300 fifth graders from Lycoming and Sullivan Counties, several workshops, a master class for high school students, and this work of art that he completed with the 36 selected fifth graders which will be a permanent part of Little League.
