Only wanted to make a point that when the "farout" right can't give me a true answer to my question,I'm only guessing they don't have one.-MERCURY2

Thanks for the reply. As to the quote from your post, my opinion is that they do not have the guts to give an honest answer. I believe you hit the nail on the head. It is not always easy to be honest, sometimes the truth is not exactly what we wish it to be, but to run from it is IMO, immature at best. Have a Safe, Pleasant, & Happy Day tomorrow!!!-Scott

MERCURY2,

I did not take anything personally(not that it matters too much with me) In the future, or now for that matter, if you have any questions with regards to my way of thinking, or my posts--Please ask!! I will tell you my true feelings on the subject, it may be a "I don't know", but it will be honest. I would not stand on one leg holding my breath waiting for an answer from the Con/TP side on you question(I'd hate to hear that you hurt yourself)--It might have to be admitting that the sky is not falling for gun owners, with this Admin.-Have a Safe, & Pleasant day!!!-Scott

Scott36:My comment wasn't directed at you personally,I'm just glad someone else in the "Red Zone"has commonsense but, I still haven't got a reply to my comment from the real gun nuts, what laws? Again, We have Russia playing this game,"Lets have a War",which I think is no far off but, the gun nuts want to take the focus off of that SERIOUS problem and keep hitting President Obama. If we had a Bush in office, the bullets would be flying by now! Thank God we have a President with commonsense!

MERCURY2,

To illustrate my point, go to the letter "Good and Bad". My last post is easily verified as fact, yet I got "disagrees--I mostly lean left.-Scott

Scott36: Let me pretend I'm a republican aka:Tea Party member and ask the question again. "How many gun laws has President Obama signed since he been in office?"-Mercury2

I believe he signed a few exec. orders(that's all I know of), nothing that I have considered "intrusive". I as an avid gun owner I do not fear Obama. To the post previous, Yes I meant that "disapproves" were hit because you are from the left--I once got them for wishing someone a speedy recovery. Not all do this, but to believe that none do, is not of my opinion.-again, JMO-Hope your day was a Great one, & have a pleasant night!!-Scott

Scott36: I'm not sure what your comment is all about, not sure if I should agree or disagree.I think all I ask for was why people disagree with a question and what I get from your comment (reply)is it's only because a "lefty" ask it. That doesn't make any sense.?

The UN Arms Trade Treaty is a useless piece of paper. Even if ratified, it will have ZERO impact on the illegal arms trade worldwide….Eric

Then why are you so concerned about it?

In Pakistan, I can buy a fully automatic AK-47 for around $50. Eric

If that isn't a good enough reason to try to curb the sale of small arms then I don't know what is.

Firearms are easy to manufacture. In the US, they just arrested Mexican citizens in Northern California who were building fully automatic weapons and suppressors. Eric

They were "converting" semi-automatic weapons to fully automatic. Big difference.

The point is, this treaty does nothing to effect our 2nd amendment rights, nor any of our rights. Unless of course you want to go into the gun running business in Africa.

I agree, although the same must be said of Senator McCain.
