There is no fee for the Veterans Designation; however qualified applicants must pay any initial issuance; renewal or duplicate Driver's License or ID fees. --DMV

I'm all for vets getting their recognition but how much is this going to cost the taxpayer? I have vets in my family that would do without this to save the taxpayer any more additional money.
