MrShaman:There are plenty, OF them!!!"

Their sure are!!

American Rifle Magazine, while technically interesting in terms of mechanics and mechanics and stuff like that, is also ridiculously blythe when it references the human body and what a bullet does upon entering.

It's like judging a "jello" contest. Insane, really crazy scary, IMO

....With "newspeak" like..."As long as the press has the right to manipulate the news, we know our freedom is still intact."

Better double-check your references...and, assumptions.

From the New York Times Sunday Op/ED page today. The Left Wing New York Times:

Perhaps no one understood both the necessity and the costs of a free press better than Thomas Jefferson. In a 1787 letter to a friend, he wrote, “Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.”

"But the government can upset the Sullivan case’s delicate balance by aggressively shutting down avenues of inquiry, as the Obama administration has done to an extreme degree in prosecuting those suspected of leaking classified documents, and even seizing reporters’ records. Uninhibited and robust criticism can go only so far without meaningful access to information."

That's right wing banter from the NTY Editorial Board today!!!!!!!!!

Check the Internet for local TV news, and be shocked how ultra right wing many TV stations are. As an example, on 3/5/2014, a chief of police accidently discharged his Glock 23 pistol when his parka bottom tie wedged itself into the trigger guard while the gun was holstered.

Result: he takes the gun out of it's holster and he shoots himself in the leg. On video.

In New York, or Philly that story would have been entirely about how dangerous handguns are, even to a trained officer. Not in Indiana! They made it into a ego shrinking "joke", then the black newscaster later explained that the solution was to cut off the cord on the bottom of the parka. And then he demonstrated it on live TV.

I swear, the NRA could not possibly have written this better. And they devoted at least 5 good minutes to the piece.....and sold a lot of Glocks in the process. The point being, Mr. Obama does NOT control the media everywhere.

"A message is being sent: Operate your newsrooms as Obama desires, or face the consequences. Some experienced journalists have rated the Obama administration the most secretive in their memories."

*

Gee...I couldn't (possibly) imagine who that might be...except, maybe....
