Yes, we need an extraction tax so the money can go to Philly and Pitt instead of the local communities.-eriklatranyi

I haven't noticed complaints when state money comes into the area--Some(if not most)from Pittsburgh, & Philly.-Scott

Liar!!! The gas companies are not going to run away if an extraction tax is imposed. They haven't in all of the other states where THEY DO tax them. This is where the gas is, and they aren't going anywhere. Besides, the tax should, and will be designated toward the communities where the gas tax is needed most. This Gov. has managed to cover up his knowledge of the Sandusky mess and now he's trying to make us believe this departure crap. I don't care if you're GOP or Democrat, this ignorant, lying bum has got to go.

If President Obama was serious about Ukraine, he would open up the export of domestically extracted oil and natural gas.

World oil and gas markets would drop immediately in the news.

Russia depends on its oil and gas exports for revenue. Russian drillers are not as efficient as US drillers, so a drop in price can quickly turn profitable Russian oil into unprofitable Russian oil.

Meanwhile, US oil and gas would remain profitable.

That is the way you stand up to Putin without firing a shot.
