Nobody, where do you come off on this? Of course people care. I have been following this since day one. There are several blogs that have live updates and theories. Many newspapers in Southeast Asia have much more detail than the papers in this country. Right now everything is just theories. That is it. Until they have hard evidence everything is just words in the wind. Pray for the families that are so desperately waiting for real answers.

I could not say it better Cave.

This whole thing is very troubling, and should be to everybody.

Except Williamsport, which apparently is a separate entity from the rest of the world.

@Nobody, I've been thinking the plane was stolen since the second day when no debris or floating seat cushions were found.

I'm not sure we have to worry about it being used as a weapon against us in the continental US, but I worry about our allies abroad.

The very fact that a plane this big can just disappear, and no one bothers to check up on it is very troubling. What is wrong with Viet Nam? Ho Chi Minh should have noticed that the plane just "disappeared" once Malaysia handed it off. And the Malaysian military? What the he ll were they thinking? Oh, there's an unidentified plane flying over there. Gee, wonder what that is? Seriously?

This whole scenario sheds light on how lax security is in southeast Asia. The very fact that not one but two people got aboard with stolen passports shows Malaysian security failed from the beginning.

Erik: " A 777-200 would be an ideal delivery system for an EMP device."

True, or how about a North Korean or Iranian Nuke?

That's why it's so important of a story. 34 disagrees. And I'm a nobody.

I posted this on March 12, 2014 and I received a total of: 5 Agrees 34 Disagrees ================================== PAY ATTENTION please to something OUTSIDE OF OUR LITTLE RIVE VALLEY:

That Malaysian plane made a 90 degree left turn over the ocean. Computers don't make that "mistake", humans do. Thus, whatever the end of the story is, somebody in that cockpit made a left turn.

Therefore, human intervention at the minimum =================================== What does that tell you about Williamsport?

The agony of the families is only assuaged by the hope that the passengers are still alive inside the stolen jet.

This is very bizarre, but, I hope our defenses are up. A 777-200 would be an ideal delivery system for an EMP device.

I watched an update just now on Sky News, and watched a synopsis of the news reports last night.

I was really surprised when it appears the Malaysian military said they were tracking a plane and they believe it could have been MP370, and they didn't try to figure out who or what it was.

Apparently transponders can be switched off. To me, that seems like a bad idea.

Malaysia doesn't check passports very well either, since two of the passengers were flying on stolen passports.

I hope this mystery can be solved, and quickly, but I fear we'll learn where this plane is after its flown into something.
