Whose fault would of it been instead of shooting the man he whipped him until death? Then it would be the fellows fault right no guns fault!!!! You people who believe guns kill people obviously don't remember Oklahoma or 9-11 or the Boston marathon. If it looks dumb and smells dumb and all of its post are dumb it must be a democrat

And if there were no guns, the United States would not exist. We would just be The Colonies.

Wow, no mention of the 1102 lives saved since 2011 because the potential victim "had a gun in their hand". I also wonder why the news media never covers these stories.

New Rule....(My Bill Maher impression)....if you're a wittle scaredy cat and think you need a gun...you are the kind of person who gets DENIED to carry a gun. You paranoid little sissy cons are exactly the profile of the person who represents a menace to our society and therefore you are not allowed to possess and carry a firearm. Real men don't carry. Scared little boys do.

Forty, I hope your never put in a situation where you needed a firearm to defend yourself. I can guarantee the perpetrator will not throw down his weapon to make things equal just because you think your a man.

And who/what is at fault for the stabbing in western PA at the school the other week. Let's ban knives. Better yet let's ban schools, that seems where most of this activity is happening.

It's better to have the protection and never have to use it than need it and not have the means of protection to defend one's family.

If 462 were in a restaurant with a madman selective killing people I'm sure he would want an armed citizen to intervene and save his family.

Oh I forgot, he's a real man and would jump up unarmed. Then the perp would pee his pant's and flee.

I'm soon to be 50 years old...and have never, absolutely NEVER! have been in a situation in which I've ever felt the need to protect myself with a firearm. Why is it you sissy paranoid delusional right wing little boys see danger everywhere?(black man in the White House) I was once in a situation in which a paranoid delusional relative was invited to a child's piano recital, held in a church. Carried his gun IN THE CHURCH...went to nice restaurant afterward....went to table to be seated and he drops his Glock 9mm on the tile floor from shoulder height as he took his jacket off! CLANG BANG BANG goes the gun onto the tile floor! Total silence throughout the restaurant as everyone is SHOCKED and scared ****less at at what they've just observed. The guilty paranoid idiot conservative little boy goes "oops", "didn't mean for that to happen"! NO, you people are a menace to our society and I vow to do everything in my power to disarm you.

ATTENSION EVERYONE!!!

Forty has just declared that because in his 50 yrs. NO ONE ANYWHERE has ever been in need of protection because HE NEVER EVER was put in that "situation".

And he also states that no Liberals or Democrats carry. It's safe to say he doesn't get out much. You told a story now it's my turn. My former girlfriend had three kids, ex husband was a drug dealer, he was to testify against his source in NYC, they sent death threats to his and us along with pictures the cops showed us that they sent. Pictures of the kids going to and from school, details of what the had for lunch {meaning they were in the school} pictures of all of us out in public and what they would do if ex husband testified. The police told me to arm myself or leave the situation. I think someone like you Forty would have left, I stayed not to be some gut toting nut because it was the right thing to do. Luckily nothing happened as the people were arrested and sentenced but will be getting out

Sounds like someone needed a lesson on how to properly handle a fire arm, that or that entire family tree is a little wacky.

bornandraised: Just think if he had a GUN, we would be counting body bags! It's not GUNS that are the problem,I like the NRA and the right to own them (guns) but, the problem is what and how many rounds some will fire in a minute! Use a little "commonsense" in your comment.

I was surprised that 9 people would agree with the statement made by bornandreaised about "banning schools". Hopefully you were being sarcastic, because if we use that mentality we would have to ban certain other places such as military bases, movie theaters, malls ect. I do not think that carrying a gun in my daily life is something I will ever do, that is my choice, as many others chose to do what they feel they need to. To take a weapon like that to a childs piano recital is out of my personal realm of being a responsible gun owner, then having it fall out of his coat at a restaurant is more of a danger at that point. I know some will say will say "you never know" when you will need to protect yourself, but I myself would have used better judgement on when carring a weapon was really needed. Premier you must admit your story is not what regular people face daily that is totally different than a piano recital. She should be thankful you stayed.

So Steeleman are you saying that whenever a mass shooting happens we should ban whatever type of buisness, such as a mall or movie theater, military base, school, church? So eventually we will all be sitting at home because every place is banned? If that is the type of life you are shooting (no pun intended) for go for it. Are you serious?

We can't just segregate it to mass shootings any mass killing. No more marathons, big office buildings, ect. anything that has the potential to have a mass disaster.
