richardson: I guess you are talking about "all" parties in your comment, right? So,If this is the case why can't a few million Pennsylvania citizens stop this crap from going on in 'OUR' Pa. government? Let me answer that for you,it's not votes that matter,it's the BIG MONEY that matters! People like Toomey depend on people like the KOCH Brothers and the same goes for the left. We have to get money out of politics and get back to the "grassroots" how people are elected!

The "state". In this I mean the government which we elect. The state which promises to govern on principles that represent it's electorate. It seems that our reps, once elected become unprincipled and perform their tasks in a manner that favors reelection. Along with cronyism, and power, our representative's voters, often send confusing messages when it comes to faithfulness to ideals. Particularly: When the going gets tough.

Not sure who this person is called "STATE"? I always thought it was the people in an area with a border that was a "STATE" and voted to make laws that controls how a "STATE" runs it's business.Footnote: If you tax the gas companies more and more, all that does is raise the price you pay in the end. It's a "roundrobin" affect if you know what I mean. The gas companies work on a "profit margin",the more they have to pay the more you will pay. "Wise up"! It's like killing the goose with the "Golden Egg"!

Just to add. Now the would be Governor would like to TAX the shale industry under the guise of eliminating property tax. What a crock. Just another State grab.
