I was saddened on MonApril 14, after reading the letter entitled “My sign” and felt I should respond....

I haven't read the letter but agree with Tex and would add that the left is tolerant of everyone, unless you disagree with them.

Donna, well stated.

I do think that when some use the words "where's your sign" that it is done in jest and a joking fashion with no malicious intent.

But when you look at society, things have changed. For instance, we used to use the word 'tolerant' to capture some of the gist of what you are saying, ie "I may disagree with what some one believes and says but I will also respect them as an individual and give them a chance to say it", ie a free speech, as long as it does not libel someone. Now we seem to skip past the word 'tolerant' to use the word 'intolerant' to label others that we disagree with and make them the "bad" guy, in essence to say they are wearing "a sign".......which actually makes the accuser 'intolerant'.

Some of these "protected group laws" actually get rid of the tolerance and turn things into an illegal intolerance worthy of criminal charges or retribution. They don't distinguish between "free speech&
