cross the big river in Newburgh, and find a home of opportunity for EVERYONE.................Nobody

Hahahahahahaha............Welcome to Newburgh, Murder Capital of New York This tiny city has a crime epidemic reminiscent of the Bronx of the seventies. It is also the scene of some of the most ambitious gang raids ever conducted, led by an FBI agent who knows the young men he’s arresting only too well.

To all the disagree's: You could also drive 3 hours east from Scranton on I-84, cross the big river in Newburgh, and find a home of opportunity for EVERYONE. Not like Williamsport where that's reserved exclusively for the long time business owners, and doctors, who live on Grampian or Valamont (sp)hill.

People here would be shocked to know that there really is a home for opportunity.

It's easy to find from Williamsport too. Just drive four hours east on I-80, cross the big river via the GWB, and you're home.

Higher prices and taxes yes, but also much much more opportunity with much much higher wages. And,an infinite amount of great things to do and see.

You gotta figure what's left of the "originals" must be either scared to leave, or just plain too broke to try.

"Just something about this DISGUSTING little town if you don't use drugs you will if you stay here long or you could just be legal and stay drunk"

When I left Williamsport over 40 years ago, there were none of these problems. I left because I couldn't get a good job.

It's much harder nowadays to find a job, any job, especially now that gas is leaving or left

(phew!)

So ray6770, you can add that to your descriptive of Williamsport.

Just something about this DISGUSTING little town if you don't use drugs you will if you stay here long or you could just be legal and stay drunk at one of Williamsports many many many BARS. Never seen so many BARS, CHURCHES and REPUBLICANS in such a small town in my life, HOW CAN IT POSSIBLY BE SO BAD???? (REPUBLICANTS) Williamsport needs a bigger prison it will be the only successful business in this town.
