Hey, USABorn, Why don't you give your opinion on my question to Cap-6:03PM post(since he seems to have scampered away from it)CAUTION: You just might have to disagree with a MEGA-mouthed Conservative, or not-Scott

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

I see 2 disagrees when I commented on the PP video instructing 15 year old girl on sex. Just goes to show how badly they want to bury the truth about how lousy liberalism is. How sad that liberals think simply denying something about their dastardly doings makes it go away.

...And I correctly assumed that that you were clucking away(out of the wrong end again),parroting/aping beck, or the doughy drug boy. Ok, now you can go back to pulling wings off of your pet flies, or whatever you do for amusement---Don't forget to wash up afterward. Have a uneventful evening-Scott

The PP 3% number is a shame, if our brain dead liberal posters were capable of any personal research, instead of parroting talking points, it would be obvious to them.-Sibyl

Hey Ostrich woman, Pull your head out of the sand long enough to at least give me a clue as to where you are getting your info. I mentioned 3% came from PP website. Keep a stiff upper chin, and be big enough to admit it, if you heard it on beck, or drug boy--I'll understand. Hope your day was as best as could be hoped for!!-Scott

Capricorn1,

Just curious, you are in an argument with "Chuck" over women being pushed by the Right to be "subservient", IHO,(I take it). Maybe, just maybe this idea is being "enhanced" by large figures in the Cons. movement like the one I mentioned in a post @ 11:27 on this thread. In your opinion, could this be true?? Agree with GW? Look it up, he is using women(IMO) in an attempt to bash Obama. Hope your day was fantastic!!-Scott

Capricorn1, I did the attempt to ban abortion, eliminating choice. The fight against equality because men and women are not fundamentally alike, that came from one of the posters here.

There is a lot of things I don't want to pay for that is conservative based, like blocking access to abortion.

Face it the religious rights wants women to be subservient. They don't want them to make decisions for themselves. -Chuck

Chuck, can you give me an example how they are attempting to accomplish this?

Also, the deaths you speak of happened back between 1920 and 1960. Society has come a long way since then regarding human rights and moral thinking. This country too has made some grave mistakes, both democrats and republicans during that time period that we are now not very proud of. Comparing the Catholic church today to tragedies that occurred 50 to 75 years ago has no bases.

I dont want to see woman not being able to have the choice of abortion, I just want no part in paying for it. We will all have to answer for our decisions in the end. Abortion is not one that I would ever want to have to answer for, but hey, it is your choice, it is legal.

What the right fails to understand is that Planned Parenthood doesn't get all of it's funding from the government especially since republicans have cut it. They do not just preform only abortions. Abortion is only one of many services they provide. One more fact abortions are still not outlawed.

"Chuck, what exactly does babies dying in Ireland 50-75 years ago have to do with American conservatives today?"

It is the religious right, this is the anti abortion Catholic church in action.

Face it the religious rights wants women to be subservient. They don't want them to make decisions for themselves.

All of this concern over the unborn and there is a history of abuse by the same system that is leading the crusade for the unborn.

You have to watch the video of a PP counselor telling a 15 year old girl how to go to sex shops, access **** sites on the computer, how to be a dominatrix, how to torture and inflict pain.....masochism. It is truly a disgusting video. I just watched it on TV....here is one site on the computer.....

Breast and uterine cancer are the two worst cancers among women. PP cannot, by law, perform mammograms, and they do not do uterine cancer screening.

Cloud what issue exactly? That they are the leader in low cost healthcare for men and women, cancer screenings, STD treatment, physicals, pregnancy tests. I think the only thing that is clouded is the perceprion that Planned Parenthood is an abortion mill. In 2012 the "tea party"republicans tried to block a measure for funding, which was shot down as it should be. Erik we pay taxes for alot of things you have no idea where your tax dollars go, I wish we could pick and choose but that is not reality. Personally I would much rather my tax dollars go to that then paying for lets see.. a war, politicians healthcare for life, studies on how romance novels affect people, studies on the sex of birds, and on and on. Maybe we could use that money for education and put sex ed back in the schools. Maybe if we did that the need for abortion services would deminish greatly.

Planned Parenthood is under investigation for Medicaid fraud across multiple states.

In 2012, Planned Parenthood received $542 million in taxpayer funds.

But, then Planned Parenthood spends funds to elect sympathetic politicians.

So, their funding, spending and other activities are a intentionally confusing, convoluted web that clouds the issue.

If we could pick and choose what our tax dollars go for one thing I would like to cut funding for from my paycheck would be for 70+ year old men recieving ****** at a discounted price at a federally funded clinic, yes that is happening also. Who is picking up the rest of that perscription price, you and I. Is that ok? Unless it is medically necessary I don't want to pay for that either. I am sure that you will try to deny that fact but I have worked in a fed funded clinic and yes sir it happens. Lets see a defense for that?

Lauri, my only point was, it's hard to believe that no tax dollars are being used when over a quarter of a million abortions are being performed annually at the same centers/clinics that provide all the other services that are government funded. Like I said, I believe Planned Parenthood provides needed services, and I also believe that 1st trimester abortions are a legal necessity in today's society, I don't however feel that tax payers should fund them in anyway except for situations that you stated earlier. That is what the law states, but is this really happening in reality under one roof?

Scott, that 3% figure is 3% of the over 10 million services they provide annually nationwide-Capricorn1

Understood, however 3% is 3%. The other numbers you quoted, seem "reasonable"(as far as numbers go) considering a population of something like 300 plus million. Have a Great day!!-Scott

Caricorn so you fail to believe anything that does not fit your mentality that most of the money goes to fund abortions, so I won't bother going any further. You have your views and I will stick with mine. Off to work, have a good one.

Scott, that 3% figure is 3% of the over 10 million services they provide annually nationwide. In 2005 they performed 255k abortions and 264k in 2006.
