Heck of a party at a W4th Street property. I think there are alot of clueless people. They just don't get the gravity of the problem.

Lauri, I think there are many that are unfamiliar with the sport and the name alone makes them think it's a joke. I wasn't that well versed in the game until being mentioned in the paper so I did some research and watched some videos of it being played and I'm now very curious and may try it myself. Like I mentioned it's a game for all ages and it's really getting popular with seniors.

I am happy to report that Saturday morning I saw 4 little kids playing pickleball and they were laughing and having a good time. I still do not believe the hoops caused any issues, but I am pleasently suprised to see kids using the courts.

I love playing tennis, and I am looking forward to using the pickle ball courts to teach my grandchildren the basics.

Finally a voice of reason. Great letter Dorothy. Enigma, don't knock the game until you try it. It's a great sport for young and old and it's gaining huge popularity across the country.

I'm glad to hear that some good came from this decision, but did you notice that when Dorothy talks about all the games played on the pickleball court, that pickleball wasn't one of them? Whether you think removing the basketball hoops was a good idea or not, pickleball courts were just a clueless replacement.
