Nobody: Your comment(7/12--5:21pm)about the 'stock market' going up is a little confusing, would you rather see it go down? I have been making out pretty good since it's gone up and that gives me more money to spend! I guess that's a bad thing, right?

Hi Bobbie: I just read the synopsis of "Masters of Audacity and Deceit" on Amazon, and it sounds like a must read.

Thank you for the tip!

JMHO- hope you are enjoying another fine summer day. -Cheyenne

I do lean left on more issues than I lean right. FWIW, I am certainly not a big fan of Pelosi, Reid, or Obama(to name a few). This being said, I do not see them as being all of our problems packaged into one neat little bundle either. I simply am not one to follow a crowd. The best way I can describe it is that I see Democrats for the most part championing "people", & Republicans championing "business". Both sides need their voice, it is just that I have more caring in me for people, than a bottom line(money). This generally holds true for the environment, & other issues that hold more importance to me.-Hope you also enjoyed your day, Have a Great evening!-Scott

Scott, what are the problems we so desperately need solutions for IYO?-underwood

Jobs, economy, living wages that could support families without help from agencies, addictions, incarceration rate, fighting wars we do not need to be involved in, environment, there's a few, you are free to comment. Hope you had a Great day!!-Scott

Bush knew full well what was going on with Wall Street. And Obama don't know from nothing! Neither one of them were any good for us.

And that is why blind and stupid party loyalty makes no sense. Believe me, there are CEO's on both sides of the isle who have raped this country of prosperity!

Stock prices HAVE NOT gone up for "good for the country" reasons: MORE SALES.

There hasn't been more sales, only less cost. Less cost means more profit. More profit means higher stock prices. Simple as that.

PS As stock prices have gone up, so has CEO compensation. Meanwhile, stock prices have gone up because labor costs have plummeted.

Why? Stealing jobs from Americans and giving them to foreign workers. That's why!

Chuck: "Then these companies are lying because Wall Street (not Obama) is saying otherwise."

You're right, Chuck. Wall Street anymore is nothing but a pack of lying, cheating, thieves who have stripped our country of it's jobs!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, it appears to me that you are just as guilty of "blind and stupid party loyalty" as anyone else that posts here, only you don't see it that way. According to you, any criticism of a Democrat is "hate", and any criticism of a Republican is "rational thinking". JMHO- hope you are enjoying another fine summer day.

Let me take a stab in the dark--"stash"(?),strikes me as so 70ish. You, 5th, possibly as high as 7th grade? About the level of where your line of "insults" seem to be stuck at. Another stab, is this about the time you, & "the others" became aware of each other? Could 'splain a lot.-Have a Calm, Serene, "Happy thoughts" kind of day!!-Scott

....an correct you are. There is nary a subject that can be discussed politically that does not appear that way nowadays.(unless you try to pass yourself off quoting things generically) I see that you are not very impressed with the "recovery". You are hardly alone, but considering what was left to this President, & with a Congress that can hardly work with itself, one branch seemingly dedicated to "getting" the Prez., it could be worse. JMHO, "Hate" has sadly replaced rational thinking when it comes to solutions we so desperately need. Some even seem to thrive on it, & wear it like a badge of honor. Truly sad.-Have a Great, Stress Free day!!-Scott

Anybody out there that have a 401k? If so let me know how much money you lost back in 2007-2008? Now tell me how much has your 401k gone up from 2009-2014? A good % of your 401's are linked to the 'stock market' you know where most of the 'rich' have made tons of money but, complain about a President who's 'scre*ing' them,I don't get it!

Nobody:

Yes, we have US troops in more nations now, on undefined missions, bleeding and dying for President Obama, who refuses to abide by the War Powers Act his own party insisted was required!

PS: If you want to know who had more troops die in Afghanistan under his presidency, do not look at Bush.
