Carlitos "Now I see immigrants are nothing more than squatters and be treated as such. "

Why is it you always omit illegal in your conversations? I guess since your basic ideology is stealing from people illegal is a pox.

"Chuck-answer this if you can. You come home from a long day at work to find ten strangers, including children, in you house uninvited. These 10 strangers are seeking a better life for themselves and their family. You live pretty good and they can see that there is opportunity at the Reeder homestead. What do you do?"

Now I see immigrants are nothing more than squatters and be treated as such.

Get up early, make breakfast for them, make their lunch to take to school, wave to them as they get on the bus, be a homeroom parent to take them treats, greet them when they get off the bus, help them do homework, make dinner for them, wash their cloths, read to them, tuck them in bed and repeat the next day."

Just like your conservative heores give them to a liberal to care for. One of us is capable of being moral and doing God's work and it isn't you.

Well Doobio24 you do like what ifs and bashing liberals.

You made a statement about pro abortion and open borders for children as being true and I showed you the opposition to your statement which also must be true for you. and then you had snit about liberals.

Like your fellow conservatives and Bible lovers you think it is okay to abandon these children and to turn our backs to them, to completely close the borders to all.

Add that to the long list of unfounded(incorrect,BTW)childish attempts at hateful character assignation. The novelty of your, at times, mildly amusing 1st grade quips is wearing off. I do however have a coop full of chickens that you might have something in common with, always clucking, & actually having more substance than you, I'm sure they would keep their clucks at a level you could relate to. Who knows, maybe you could even pick up some manners from them. Have a Calm, incident free night!!-Scott

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% of likely U.S. voters believe the primary focus of any new immigration legislation passed by Congress should be to send the illegal immigrants back home as quickly as possible. Just 27% say it should focus instead on making it easier for these illegal immigrants to remain in the United States. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided." —RasmussenReports

"We feel for these children that they are fleeing their countries,” Corbett said. “We want to make sure they are taken care of and returned to their countries. But we also are concerned about their health and what they may cause as far as health issues in the state of Pennsylvania..............What dollars are going to pay for this? Is it the Medicaid dollars that are needed for the people of Pennsylvania already which are very short? Again how are we going to pay for all these services?”

Doobio, parental responsibility is sorely lacking in this country and actually that is on topic. With a national illegitimate rate of over 40% why not add a few hundred thousand more kids to that statistic. Seems logical to me.

If a person wants to force a woman to have a child, should they then have to be in the business of adopting these children?-Scott. Or the mother and father could take responsibility for their actions and raise the child themselves. We are kinda getting off topic.

Not to mention that illegal immigration is, well, illegal, and the federal government is failing miserably in enforcing those laws.

The bottom line is, if that border was properly secure none of this would be happening. There wouldn't be 11 million illegals in this country, there wouldn't be billions of dollars of drugs coming into this country and the states wouldn't be paying billions each year housing criminal illegal aliens etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. No amount of immigration reform or amnesty will solve anything if that border is not secured. People can spin it anyway they want and act like they are compassionate, but the negative consequences of illegal immigration FAR outweighs any compassion you feel. JMHO.

So I guess you mean that part of the current laws will be followed while some will be ignored!!

Let's assume the Elizabeth Warren supports no exploitation of the illegals; does that mean she wants them to make minimum wage and then be taxed. It looks like some of these will be terminated because wage costs go up so they will be added to the welfare rolls. Or now there are less jobs for the unemployed to have. It seems like they are taking jobs. I guess you must support corporations reducing their employment expenses. I just don't see this as a good solution for the long haul.

Hey Einstein, I did not make that statement, I was responding to it. You are really stuck on the "chemical" thing lately--Any particular reason? FWIW, I have over the years, had to deal with a number of people who were users of "Chemicals and such", & every one of them made a lot more sense, & displayed more intelligence in their communication than what is your usual performance. Also, every one of them were of a "single" state of mind--not a crowd in their skull. You are mildly entertaining at times though. "The anti abortion people are for closing the boarders to children! Does that clear it up for you?"-Chuck No! Typical answer a question with a question. My vote to close the border to all, including children, is one of compassion. As it was perfectly stated in a previous post illegally entering this country does end well for anyone. At best they are positioning themselves for extreme poverty and potential abuse from citizens that will exploit their desperation. A typical response from an extreme liberal is to ask for everything, expect someone else to pay, and not care about the consequences. If you want to open the border then you should have to take a child and raise them as you own. Put up or shut up.

Ie. wouldn't an undocumented [ie. illegal] immigrant that pays taxes be a violation of hiring laws?-ToTEXASfromPA

I believe you stated that it came from a website for Immigration REFORM.

The quote you chose states that there should be "a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants..." Would it not be logical to assume that laws/rules, etc. would need to be established/passed/changed in order to do this? I believe that this line of reasoning would lead to getting rid of the "exploiting" she referred to in the 1st chosen statement. This is why things need to be read in full. Cherry picking only certain parts of anything can lead to mischaracterizations.-JMHO-Have a Great Weekend!!-Scott
